When I first tasted the chicken salad, I thought man, that is really salty. I only took a big tablespoon initially because I was going to serve it for dinner. When I gave it to my husband for dinner, he thought it was really salty as well. I ended up calling Sam’s that night and asking if I could return it and I did. In general it seems like it would’ve been good but it was just briney.

The recipe seems to have changed and not a fan of sweet pickle relish in the chicken salad. Please remive it.

I tried this chicken salad and returned it, I thought chicken was old and the texture and the ingredients, mixed in this chicken tasted bad. I thought maybe the chicken was old. So I decided to purchase it again, the same nasty taste to much mustard or relish, whatever in it, I got a headache. I liked the way it used to taste. Whoever decided to change it made a big mistake. I will not be buying it.

This chicken salad used to be a staple in my house, but the new recipe is absolutely terrible. Instead of full chunks of rotisserie chicken with a light dressing and savory flavor it is now a mushy, shredded-chicken mess with too much dressing and weird sweet taste. I can see why my club had it on sale. I will not be purchasing it again.

I would not recommend anymore. It used to be a great fresh tasting chicken salad with large chunks of chicken. Now it reminds me of the texture of tuna fish, but just me with chicken. There’s plenty of other products on the market that I could buy that I like that.

I have been buying this chicken salad for years and this time it was like a tuna salad texture. No chunks of rotisserie chicken like before. I used to brake down the big chunks and this time there aren't any chunks not even little ones. It's almost like a dip for crackers or chips, Or maybe a bread bowl. It's very creamy. Lots of mayonnaise. I was not happy. It almost tastes and texture like Walmart deli brand. It could be from this location (Park Blvd) I use different locations because you can't get everything at ever location. I would ask for a refund but it's not worth the time.

We have bought this for years and loved it, and was even a staple in my daughter’s school lunch bag. This new recipe is awful, I tried it first and hated it! I hoped she wouldn’t notice but she took one bite and was done. “Daddy, why didn’t you get the same kind, I don’t like this.” Won’t be buying again unless you bring back the classic recipe!

I didn’t know what was going on when the fresh chicken salad was absent from our local Sam’s for a few weeks, and I was so excited when it was once again available. However, this is not the chicken salad that we loved for so many years. So disappointing! It’s really wet, too much mayo, and tastes like/has the texture of canned chicken. I’m not sure what happened, but I’d be willing to pay more to bring the old recipe back. It was a household favorite, but I won’t buy it again if it stays this way. Back to Fresh Market chicken salad for us.

Sam’s chicken salad used to be one of my favorite things to eat. It was considered my comfort food and I would’ve write it in a star 10 if I could, however the chicken salad I got yesterday delivered to me was horrible. It was like somebody had made the chicken salad and instead of big chunks of chicken and big chunks of celery. I had some chicken salad that was put through a blender processor and ground down to mush. I will not be buying this again.

Why change something was so amazing!?!? I am beyond disappointed in this new recipe!!! It is so gross now. Why add sweet relish!?! And the chicken is also terrible. It does not seem like a rotisserie chicken like the old one was. Please change it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
