I don't love the chicken salad. For my taste, it had too much seasoning & not enough substance/texture. Will not purchase again.

This is positively my favorite chicken salad. It’s just my husband and I. He doesn’t like it, so it’s a once in a while treat for me. I was so excited, got home, tore open the carton and dug in … then I noticed something gravely wrong. It doesn’t taste the same! It had a weird acidic taste to it that was never there before. I tried to doctor it up with other spices and mayo, but to no avail, it didn’t hide the acidic taste. I’m so sad. I don’t think I’ll chance it again. Disappointed!!

Soooo disappointed in the change they have made to this mush! Their chicken salad used to be amazing. I would shop there just to get it--full of delicious chunks of chicken, spiced just right. They changed it, and it is terrible! Bring back the old recipe!!!!!

The new recipe is a miss in both texture and flavor. Does anyone even look at these reviews? It's obvious that there is a problem with the choice to change the recipe if someone is actually looking at reviews since the the change that no one wants. We used to buy a tub of chicken salad every week. We have not repurchased since the recipe changed.

I've been buying this chicken salad for a while. It is a quick/easy meal prep option for high protein/low carb lunches. It used to be a traditional chicken salad made with rotisserie chicken and raw chopped celery. The last two containers I bought contained cooked celery, which is just odd. And the chicken seems more mushy/overcooked and/or with more sauce. It's like they are cooking the mixture? I'm not sure exactly what has changed, but it definitely has cooked celery and is not the same as before. I much prefer the old recipe.

This was another one of our go-to's for quick and fast and easy, especially if we were traveling! sometimes we might have added more onions to it and chopped up the bigger pieces of meat! But it was great!!!!!!! The last time we purchased it, they changed the ingredients. something terrible was added to it. We returned it. it was so bad! Sam's club quit changing your recipes!!!!!!!

This is really really bad. First of all I have no idea what type of rubber rotisserie they claim to be using but it's not the one they put out. It is bland and more of a mayonnaise stew. Save yourself the disappointment. Buy the regular rotisserie, some mayo, celery, salt n pepper and make your own. Sam's should be ashamed to sell this.

I was buying this salad every one and half weeks. I added additional celery and it was great Then I bought the salad about 3 weeks ago . I ate it and my stomach got upset. I tried it the next day and again my stomach got upset. I threw it out, I haven't bought it since. Someone ruined a good thing. Too bad I really liked the salad.

I would like others to know that may not be aware that the original chicken salad recipe is gone. The one Sam's sells now is trash. Idk why they changed it but they did and it's disgusting. Please go back to the original classic recipe bc clearly you're receiving so many negative reviews.

Sams club rotisserie chicken salad has always been my absolute favorite chicken salad - I won't buy any other brand, at least it was until yesterday! I bought a container to appease a deep seated craving for my comfort food of chicken salad in the Sams Club mini croissants. And I was instantly and incredibly disappointed!! The flavor is completely off. It has way too much seasoning with a stronger buttery rotisserie skin flavor than shredded chicken in a creamy sauce flavor, not balanced at all. And the aftertaste lingers, not in a good way. The celery is a more brown color and not fresh or crispy, and even the celery tastes like it's been steeped in the seasonings. The texture was different- no chunks (i'm ok with smaller chunks but the flavor change is an absolute NO). Every single bite made it more and more repulsive. I couldn't finish my mini croissant sandwich. This makes me so sad, as this really was the only chicken salad I would ever buy and I've been completely brand loyal for years- but this means I have to go on a hunt somewhere else for a new chicken salad- because unless you bring back the original recipe I won't be buying it ever again.
