This has been a warm weather “go to” item for us in warm weather. Bought it for the first time this summer %26 was extreme disappointed. Normally there are chunks of chicken but this time it was almost all filler. What little chicken in it was very “stringy”. There was also too much garlic. Hopefully, this was just a bad batch but I will hesitate to spend my $ on another one

I have raved about Sam's Club chicken salad to everyone I know. They used the rotisserie chicken and it was fabulous. Within the last few months, it tastes awful. I gave them several opportunities thinking maybe it was just a bad batch. But no, probably some cost cutting crap. Don't waste your money.

The old recipe was better... go back to it. I like the fresh rotisserie chicken with the fresh diced celery and mayo with seasonings. This new version has pickles instead of celery, and no seasoning that I can taste over the pickle... why? It doesn't taste better, it's actually worse. (And I like pickles, by themselves. Not in my chicken salad.) You've ruined it. Won't buy again until I see celery in it.

The recipe changed. I should've noticed by the look of it but nothing said new on it. I think the new has sweet pickle relish in it which I really don't like in it. Please consider bringing back the old chicken salad and just add some pecans and apples to it!

We used to buy this every week and one day my husband was like nope something is off on it. We tried it again and he threw it away. He said it tasted so bad and the recipe was off! Bring back the old recipe! Sadly we won't be buying this anymore until they bring back the old recipe for it. :( It was a staple in our household not anymore!!

Why did you have to go and mess with a good thing just make a few extra dollars? The original rotisserie chicken salad recipe was fantastic. But, this new recipe turns my stomach. I won't buy it anymore. I'm starting to turn my business to your competitor. Your offerings are going down hill while your price keeps going up. I'm starting to question whether it's worth keeping my membership.

The recipe must have changed. Have bought it before, it had chunks of chicken %26 was really tasty ..no so on May 23rd 2026. They changed the recipe. Wasn't good !! Spoke to cust service %26 comment was they changed the recipe. She refunded my $.. hopefully they bring back the original.

The new recipe for the chicken salad is very disappointing. We've tried it for a second time and just as disappointing as the first. Definitely will not be buying this again. The original rotisserie chicken was so good, fresh and loved crunchy texture.

This used to be my favorite quick and convenient way to eat lunch, to the point where I would buy a big tub once a week for me and my son to split. Bought it (and quickly returned it) when we realized that they had changed the recipe to include more processed ingredients and no longer make it in house. It literally is shipped to them premade in bags. Shame on Sam's for contributing to the food waste issue by choosing to no longer reuse its leftover rotisserie chicken for its chicken salad, and double shame for cheaping out as per usual. Considering cancelling my membership over this.

This used to be a weekly staple in my house in one of the reasons why I kept my membership, but to be honest they have changed something about this recipe and it's like a fluffy weird texture and there's also something orange that's been added, and the taste is completely different. Whatever they added, did not improve the salad.
