This used to be a weekly staple in my house in one of the reasons why I kept my membership, but to be honest they have changed something about this recipe and it's like a fluffy weird texture and there's also something orange that's been added, and the taste is completely different. Whatever they added, did not improve the salad.

Always loved this chicken salad. They changed the recipe and no longer make it on site. Now it has a funny taste that our family doesn't like. We've noticed this new style sits in the food case and ends up being marked down just to move it. Please bring back the original recipe.

I have purchased this weekly for a long time and the last several months it has tasted completely different … the original classic recipe was much better than whatever is happening now. It tasted sweet or like it has sweet pickle juice in it or something I don't know but it isn't good…. I'll just go back to making my own. Very disappointed in the new recipe/ingredients. The first time I got it with the new whatever is going on, I called customer service and told them it tasted like it had gone bad. I got it again and it tasted the exact same, just bad… 3 times a charm so I tried 1 more time and again it tasted horrible. Something has definitely changed recently and it isn't for the better.

I've bought this chicken salad on multiple occasions along with the butter 🥐, it's always been amazing! The last 2 times I was in Sam's, I noticed the chicken salad looked different. I didn't buy it the first time because I hate change. But, this time I went for an easy summer dinner. 🤢🤮 That's not Mayo, the chicken is blended to like a paste. My husband who will eat almost any and not complain said “don't buy that again!” Please Sam's bringing back the original chicken salad recipe that everyone loves! ❤️🥰

I hadn't bought Sam's chicken salad for a while because me and my daughter had gotten tired of it because that's how much we ate it. Finally bought some today and OMG TERRIBLE! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHICKEN SALAD? No chunks of chicken now its shredded with tons of visible brown chicken skin and its unusually sweet. $19 for this flaming tub of garbage. We will never buy this again. Please bring back the previous recipe because whatever this is i wouldn't describe it as chicken salad 🤢
