After maybe two years, this was the second time we bought prime ribeye at Sam's. As before, the meat looked good and appeared fresh but it was sinewy and lacking the flavor we expect from a prime cut of beef.

I have been a big fan of Sams Prime beef. Not anymore. This is not prime beef. If you can't sell Prime meat at your price point, raise the price. This is really no better than choice anymore. Really disappointed.

Where did the cap go? The ribeye has a delicious cap and Sam's club cuts most of the cap off their ribeyes. I would like to know why? They won't cut meat for you, so it truly is a meat department. I would like my cap intact, please.

Consistently thick at 3/4 of an inch for medium rare grilling. Most are reasonably well marbled. Occasionally, we have a package with less tender steaks.

We really love the prime beef from Sam's Club, it may cost a little more than the other grades of meat but it sure is worth the difference. We have been buying the prime now ever since Sam's have offered it and will continue buying it!

Enjoyed these steaks and overall they were tender. Was surprised a small spot or two in two steaks weren't as tender. Interestingly had steaks (not prime grade) recently from a grocery store that were just as tender and less expensive.

Love these! We used to buy our ribeye's from a local grocery store. These are comparable to the prime grade ribeye's we used to get there and about half the cost.
