Stop buying CHOICE Ribeye Steaks 2 years ago because they were too tough to eat. Unfortunately my wife wanted to give them another try. They were way too tough for a Ribeye, let alone a USDA Choice Angus one. They no longer guarantee their meat, but I can guarantee you that this is the last Ribeye I will purchase from SAMS CLUB. Two weeks ago we had Ribeye Steak purchased from another store and they were so tender that you did not need a knife to cut them. Lesson Learned.

Sams Club has definitely started putting out lower quality Angus ribeyes. We've been buying the angus ribeyes for years and they've always been tender and flavorful. We picked up a few for the New Year and we couldn't have been more disappointed. They were tough, chewy, and flavorless. Unfortunately I'll have to look elsewhere for my ribeyes now. It's obviously lower quality meat with jacked up prices. This meat is terrible.

Purchase this product at the Sam's Store in Kenosha on 7/19/2014. I have been a member for many years and use to swear by the quality on their steaks. However quality seems to have been going down the last 6 months. The steaks that I purchased were labeled as Rib Eye but were not. They were not strip steaks or whatever. However they were the toughest that I have purchased from Sam's. The quality of other meats have also dissipated in quality. I will look for other alternative for meats.

Beef was tough.

We used to get 3 steaks per pack for $50. Now, it's 2 steaks per pack for $50. That's absurd. I know I am not the only one that noticed. And the quality is not as good as it used to be. There's always at least one thick and tough steak included in the 3 pk. Now the odds have increased with the 2pk. Not worth it at all.

I'm not sure who is grading these steaks, but what they are trying to pass as choice is nothing more than a select steak. The prime steaks barely pass as a choice steak! Sam's used to be the best steaks in town…..now they're the worst steaks in town!

The Ribeye Steak was tough.
