It's been my experience that Sam's meats deliver high quality at a fair price. Not necessarily lower price than grocery store, but worth it. I grilled this pack of ribeye steaks, and I swear they were New York restaurant quality. Tender, juicy, flavorful, nicely cut and trimmed.

This is very good steak. It took a long time to cook on the charcoal fired barbecue but that probably enhanced the smoky flavor. They were nicely marbled. I look forward to having these again.

Massive Fred Flintstones steaks!

These were awesome. I used a nice Montreal Steak spices and garlic powder rub. Then reverse seared those (oven 350 for 12 minutes, then cast iron pans for searing) and they turned out great. But bring your appetite because these are caveman size steaks! Wonderful beefy flavors.

Great Staek When Seasoned and prepped properly

We are constantly satisfied with the Ribeyes from Sam’s. When I get home I add some SGP(Salt, Garlic, Pepper), vacuum seal and freeze. Cook day they go frozen at into a souse vid for 3-4 hours @ 128°. Then a quick sear on the grill along with a flame torch. These steaks are constantly better than the steaks I get at mid level steak houses and at todays prices it is a great way to still enjoy a great steak. Sam’s is my first stop when our steak supply gets low.

These particular ribeye steaks were 2 star rated. The last batch purchased a couple of weeks prior was 5 star rated. There seems to be a lot of variation recently (2026). Sam's Club ribeye steaks were consistently excellent a few years ago. Not sure what happened.

Disappointing steaks.

Super disappointed by the cut steaks… they were not “steaks” rather hunks of meat that did not look good at all. And there was about a pound of scraps at the bottom under the other “steaks”. It’s like whoever was cutting this did not care at all. So disappointed.
