Great smoker

My husband loves this smoker. He saw it, researched it, then asked for it for Christmas and he couldn't be happier with it. It holds a ton of meat, the temperature is true. It's light enough to be moved as needed.

Quit working after 3 uses

Purchased about 2 months ago. Used it 3x. On the 2nd use, the control panel quit working... just scrolled through the menu to do what I needed. Third time, quit working all together. Wouldn't recommend. Tried to contact company. What a run around. Had to register multiple times, and the only way they have contact with you is through email. What crappy customer service.

Product is junk!

I have had two Masterbult smokers in the past, each lasting only 2-3 years, this third one is nothing but junk out of the box. I purchased this three weeks ago and smoked a pork shoulder overnight for 16hrs this past weekend. Needless to say, meat was not done come to find out the temperature setting/display was approx. 60-75 Degree F lower, so at 225F, the actual temperature was only 165F, and tested at 275F(Max), actual temperature was 203F measured with external temperature probes that tracked within a couple degrees of each other. I'm now done with any product built by Masterbuilt.

Very poor product!!!!! Not even one star

I bought this item used it once worked great. Went to use second time and it failed. Called manufacturer they were aware of the ea01 fault code gave me instructions to remedy. Top controller had failed. Returned to Sams club for an exchange, low and behold exactly the same results. The top controller has no protection from the moisture inside the smoker, thus it condenses on the circuit board rendering it useless. Will return for s refund.

Good resutls..but horrible customer service

It started off just fine, made wings, ribs, and brisket and all turned out great. However, about the 6th time I used it, I noticed one of the spot welds on the chip loader had broken. The next time I went to load chips,the last 2 gave way. Sent in a warranty request for replacement right away. Got a cofirmation email but no other response in the last 12 days. Giving 3 stars for poor reliability and non-existent customer service.

VERY GOOD SMOKER

does great job smoking meats. But can only give it one star because if a part breaks you can't get a part because Masterbuilt will not respond to your problem e-mail and Sams Club will not respond to your problem. even when they both claim they will respond within 5 days If you have had it over 90 days the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee is worthless. I've had mine 5 months

Buyer beware.

Not entirely sure Sams is completely responsible for this. More of a manufacturer issue.... Don't bother using if its too cold! Did not turn on and digital display went nuts, finally gave me a EAA1 code with continuous beeping. After 1hr on hold with Masterbuilt, customer service suggested 1 of 3 fixes. Place a warm towel over smoker for 20 to 30 minutes, heat temp probe inside smoker for at least 4 to 5 minutes with hair dryer and last one, place a pot of boiling water inside for at least 20 to 25 minutes to warm up. If none of this works remove controller box and disconnect wires for 15 minutes and then reconnect... Finally, call us back... Nope, it's going back to Sams...
