the first time i used it, digital controls quit working in 6 hours

No probe! My thermometer says controlker was running colder by like 8-10 degrees. Would be great if it had meat probe like my old smoker did.

To start with this smoker was great but after using it three times the inside has rusted. It has been kept on a covered patio so weather should not have caused this problem. Looking for a better product to replace this one.

Gift. Worked about a year and now MB website will not support and the electronic temperature is not working correctly. So incredibly frustrating. DO NOT BUY Masterbuilt.

Basic model. No remote. Works the way it should

I have had three of these smokers the first one lasted about 3-4 years and I was pleased with the way it cooked but thought it should of lasted longer. Well I bought another one two years ago and it didn't even last a year the whole motherboard went out after about six months of use and nothing would work. I wasn't going to buy another one but my wife got me one for my birthday without my knowledge and after about three months the temperature and timer box on top went crazy. It would come on but the numbers just kept running you couldn't set them on anything no matter how much you tried to get it to stop on a temp it just kept going and going until it started out at the lowest temp again and the same with the timer. About a week later I tried again and this time it wouldn't even come on. So I've had two pieces of worthless junk the last two years maybe I should be proud of my first one that lasted 3-4 years. Also no help whatsoever from customer service.
