The product worked OK when it was working. It did pick up and clean the floor of the pool OK, but did not pick up all debris. Pattern was random, and did not cover the total floor area. I have a 33' round pool, and had to manually vacuum some of the floor (not a huge deal). I started working a bit erratically towards the end of the season and the battery life was getting shorter and shorter. Beginning of the second year, the unit is no longer working, even though it appears to take a charge. Expensive for the job it does, and of only one year of service. I would suggest buying another brand or item. The filters are not easy to clean.

Opened this baby last week and have been using it daily as I opened the pool. Super easy to use and a very strong suction. No complaints!!

We have named him Sponge Bob and he is a life saver! We thought that the pool opening would overwhelm Sponge Bob, but it did not. It is saving us a fortune on Filter cartridges and Chiropractor's bills. WELL WORTH THE $400!

I don’t usually write reviews but had to when I saw the negative ones. We have had this for about a month for our inground pool. We find that it works really good and have not needed to get the full vacuum out since we bought this. We run it daily and it picks up all the dirt and bugs and pine needles. Easy to clean, runs longer than the stated 3 hours. No complaints at all!

I was skeptical about spending the money, but this little machine gets the job done. Drop it in the pool and it automatically turns on when it gets to the bottom of the pool. Then lift it out 3 hours later with the hook provided. Mine has never flipped over! This machine is amazing!

We have had a pool for over 20 years, vacuumed 2-3 times a week by hand(1hr+ material clean up, backwash, etc.), from season open to close. We have a pressure pool cleaner with a mesh debris bag we have used in between vacuuming(3 hr cleaning time). Bought this hoping it would pick up the smaller debris that out current cleaner tends to miss, to reduce time spent vacuuming, and to reduce water wasted during backwashing. For reference our in ground pool is 40x20 with minimum depth at 3’ and max 10’. Pros: great job removing even small debris(1 inch curled worms), easy to clean out debris basket. Cons: the cleaner frequently caught on the drain covers in the deep end, did not climb incline from deep to shallow, did not climb walls or get on steps, when coming to the incline both directions would reverse back the way it came, had to redirect many times to keep it in the shallow defeating the purposes we had in mind to spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying. This pool cleaner did clean the pool very well but the hassle of redirecting it for 2 hours makes it not worth it. Tried to find troubleshooting tips online to correct the issue to no avail. Returning to the store.

I love this robot pool cleaner! I have used it daily for 2 months and have been impressed how well it does. We have a lot of sand, palm leaves and debris especially when it is windy. The robot does an excellent job at picking it up from the bottom of the pool. It has no issue going from the deep end to shallow end as other reviews noted (my slope may be more gradual than theirs and mine is an inground concrete pool - which could make a difference). It charges and runs well. It is easy to clean. I wish it had the ability to clean the walls and steps, but I was aware of that limitation when I purchased it. I definitely recommend this product.

We bought this because it was a full at recommended by pool shop BUT it does not work good at all I have had to go buy a manual cleaner once again I’ll be returning this to the store all it does is run over the dirt in the bottom and leave tire tracks I’m highly disappointed and I was so excited to get this for as much as it costs it should atleast clean halfway decent

While charging the ELF08 tonight, the wheels and motor started running and would not shut off. This unit is only a couple of months old. There is not shut off switch. I removed every screw trying to get the wheels to stop turning. I did not get the housing open yet. The wheels finally stopped. Please let me know how to get support and a replacement for this unit. I had the unit vertical, horizontal, upside down, and on each side. The only thing I could do was put it upside down until the battery ran down.

It didn't pick up debris and could barely climb out of a 6ft deep end
