Tough as nails

I marinated these steaks overnight in soy sauce and brown sugar then roasted them sauce and all with large chunks if peppers are onions. Then under the broiler. OMG it was so good I also used these to make beef jerky in a 200°F oven for a little over 2 hours. That will need to be refrigerated. Lasts a week unless frozen. Much better than me getting out my meat slicer with the mess and all

Normally, I'm a fan of steaks from Sams, but not today. The package I purchased had all of the meat brown where it wasn't visible through the plastic. When I opened it, I was disappointed to see every piece with huge brown spaces. I know this is part of the meat advertising industry, but the lack of obvious freshness was excessive today. It'll take me a while to buy this product again.

Great round steaks ... good for the crockpot (instead of grilling).

Poor quality, thick lines of fat throughout pieces that made much inedible

Not the highest quality meat, was tough
