I am able to make lattes, espresso, and cappuccinos that taste just like the ones at coffee shops. This is espresso machine does not have a coffee bean grinder, but does have a milk frother. I highly recommend this espresso machine for coffee lovers.

Set up is quick and simple, all directions are clear, and plenty of illustrations and pictures to make the process nearly foolproof. I love the three size inserts for the espresso grounds so you can customize how many shots you make; they fit securely so even when I hit it against the waste bowl the insert stays put. I also found the scoop/tamping tool very handy. This machine makes a nice espresso with beautiful crema on top. I'm saving so much money making my specialty coffee drinks at home!

As you can see, the coffee came out so smooth and silky. We struggled a bit with the frother (had it on the wrong setting) but once we figured that out. The results and the taste was beautiful 🤩

It has the basic components one needs to brew some espresso with nothing extra. This is not a higher end thousand dollar espresso machine and it's important to keep that in mind. It's good for someone who wants to get comfortable with the process of espresso making. However just because it isn't the best machine, does not mean that this couldn't be someone's end game if they wanted to. If you want to see if you like making espresso but don't want to break the bank, give this a try

The only drawback for me is that, because it is a manual machine, the espresso doesn't stop brewing when it's done. You just kind of have to guess when you've brewed enough. That can be tricky to figure out. Otherwise, as long as you read the manual first, it's easy to use.

Following the manual to make drinks was very simple. The machine warms up in about a minute and is all ready to go and steams milk quickly. It will take a little practice to figure out how big the shots are supposed to be without having the correct glasses. Overall the machine was very user friendly and easy to use. Once I get the syrups I want it will save me lots of money over going to a coffee shop.

Making espresso is a little trickier than I thought but this machine made it a breeze. The detailed instructions helped me understand how to make a perfect shot of espresso and steam milk with the steaming wand. It included most things needed but I really wish it had a jug for steamed milk included and a nicer tamp but it still worked great! Pros: -easy to use -detailed instructions -doesn't take up much counter space -consistent texture on foam/steamed milk -visibility of water level -warming plate for cup -storage for unused porta filter baskets Cons: -included “tamp” is cheap plastic so was hard to get good even pressure -did not include a steam/froth pitcher -porta filter basket fell out of the porta filter when I tried to knock the puck out.(had to dig it out of garbage can)
