I received this recently as a gift and have been impressed with the quality of espresso it makes every time. Dont over think it. Use the included scoop and tamper and some quality coffee, fine ground Pike Place works well for me, and you're good to go. It makes rich espresso with a nice creama unlike other machines Ive tried. My favorite combo, also known as a redeye, a shot of espresso in my cup of coffee. Delicious! Buy this if you want a machine that makes excellent espresso. Nice job Sams and DeLonghi!

Bought as a spare now it’s the best . My more expensive machine took a dive and company left me hanging . Luckily I found a great price on a great brand. The machine is simple but creates a complex espresso and joe ever much hate the new style frother it makes a tight froth and I’m happy.

Excellent espresso machine. The cup and handle seem to be close to good when making coffee but the cup comes out too easily. The coffee we use is Lavazza Super Crema and the flavor is amazing. We use the 2 cup insert and it may need a bit more engineering because it pops out easily. The last version of this machine did the same thing and we kept it for years until the motor gave out. Excellent investment for morning espresso. Cleaning is super easy - the reservoir holds enough water to ensure lots of cups. HINT: clean it out every day before and after use. Don't let the water stand.

This model has apparently been discontinued at the supplier, so I bought it (my second) from Walmart. It takes getting used to, but once you figure it out it works well with ESE pods (smaller than the Nescafe/Keurig pods) or with fresh-ground coffee. Good value for the money. I only make espresso, don't use the frother.

Makes delicious espressos, lattes and cappuccinos. Only complaint is the plastic scoop and tamper; very awkward to tamp. I definitely upgraded to a better tamper.

I have used only once so my experience with the machine could change later, but for now everything seems to be working fine. The only concern I have now is the speed. It seemed to take forever to get a cup of coffee. Nevertheless i’m willing to try more.

I like that it has a frother attached. I do not like how there is no way to measure an espresso other than knowing your size cup. I wish it shut off the water flow when completed. When making a double, or two at once, the sides do not come out even. The left side is always a larger amount than the right. It works well but has some little glitches that make it just ok.

Well, I know we shouldn't Write a review till we use it. But I want to warn people of possible issues and what they told me. I am missing the ESE pods filter. So I called them and was told they don't do anything because they only handle it if it breaks down. I that's not right they are responsible for making sure products have everything in them. Finally, she said they would do a one-time courtesy for me. I still think that is not good customer service if they don't send you a missing part that is supposed to be in there. If I hadn't complained and just said okay I would have had to buy it. I hope it works for me. But I will not buy anything from them in the future online. Without checking the inside. So glad I got an extended warranty with someone else I hate to see how many hoops I would have to go through. Companies are getting bad at giving good service and will find loopholes so they don't cover it. Will write another review on how it works.

Not a very sturdy machine, feels like a toy. Does not make enough pressure for a good espresso and it’s manual pour so you have to guess when it’s at the end or it will start to basically turn into just hot water.

The water container keeps popping out, the first time it took me a good amount of time to figure out why the code is not pouring. I figured from the vibration that the machine makes the water container pops out of place, and you can not make coffee. Otherwise I saw advertisements the same machine comes with some extra stuff, but ours came just with the scoop and 3 different measurement cups for coffee
