The quality of this roast was great. I smoked the roast on my Green Mountain Smoker and it was a hit! I definitely plan on cooking this again next year during the holidays.

We loved the prime rib we made out of this standing rib roast. It was probably the best I've ever made. It cost more than the local grocery store but worth it!

During the COVID restrictions, finding good cuts of meat has been a challenge , especially during the holidays. Add looking order and pick up and it was nearly impossible. Sams came through and I was very pleased. Will definitely buy again if available.

It's nice to see that someone carries “prime“ beef these days. I have seen a huge dip in quality of beef over the past decade or so where as today's “choice” is more like Yesterdays “select”. Some places that sell prime, is really more along the lines of choice. This even started to happen with the Farm in Tennessee I was purchasing beef from. Prime rib is no longer “prime“ in this country and that's sad. They need to start calling it rib roast instead of prime rib roast. So I decided to try Sam's Club prime and have to admit this is the best beef I've had from a grocer in quite a few years. I would rather see the price of beef increase than a decrease in quality.

We opted for the "Prime" versus "Choice" cut because we wanted the best, most tender cut for our holiday gathering. It was NOT prime and was difficult to cut and chew. We have prepared many delectable prime rib roasts over the years, so I know it was not a chef error. Worst $200 I ever spent!! I will NEVER get "prime rib" at Sam's again.

Absolutely the best roast I have tasted and served in quite a few years. There was just enough marbelling to keep the meat very moist and tender.

This prime ribeye roast is our Christmas favorite. Turkey for Thanksgiving but this roast makes Christmas special.

I paid $85.00 for a 4 3/4 prime rib and half of it was fat. So disappointed. Couldn't even feed my guests a good piece.

I was skeptical as the cut looked small, not enough to feed six, but it was plenty. It had amazing flavor, it was a hit!

Purchased two weeks before Thanksgiving fearing the prime rib would run out. It froze, thawed, cooked, and tasted amazing.
