Works fine but it gives our water a weird plastic taste that we don't care for at all. We are using the same water, never had this issue with our other dispenser. Also, it's very low to the ground so you have to bend over to fill your container.

We rented a top-loading water cooler for our home, for years. But, it was getting harder for my husband to pick up the 5 gallon jugs to load on the top. So in order to save money and my husband’s back, we bought this bottom-loader water cooler! We still have water jugs delivered, but the ease of putting the jugs in the bottom was well worth the purchase of this modern, quality product. We did call their customer service department when we were setting it up (nothing wrong; we had a question if clarification), and I have to say they were GREAT!! Helped us out and were very kind and friendly! I would highly recommend this water cooler.

Hot water doesn’t work. Very poor quality. Does not match description.

I should have listened to other reviews. Cold water came out tasting like stale ice cubes that have been in the frozen too long. Horrible! Ended up returning it!

I really like the unit with the exception of the loud noise. It makes when water cycles through the system after pouring water. I wish there was a way to tone down the rattling after the water cycles through.. other than that everything works fine.

Second time purchasing this identical model and will not do it again. The middle cool water dispenser barely flows. The cold water chiller makes a high pitched sound similar to a plane engine starting to head down the runway.

Ordered the A4 model here from Sam’s. Received a model A3 in the shipment which also was poorly packaged and had damage to the cooler in multip places. Large dents and scratches. Returned it to fed ex in order to get a replacement sent which was a headache. Received another wrong model A3 again with damage in multiple in places of the same. Returned it to the club and purchased a Brio online that came packaged much better and in perfect condition.

The Avalon dispenser is good looking, quiet when dispensing and somewhat quiet when the pump is running. It dispenses water quickly. The hot water is hot and the cold water is cold. The only problem I find is the dispenser is too short and requires you to bend to place your glass. The optional 10" base is too darn expensive. I still recommend this unit.

My husband and I are loving our new Avalon A4 Bottom Loading Water Cooler. He had a concern that it wouldn't work as well as the original top loading coolers because, you know ... gravity. I took a chance on it because I didn't want to deal with having to hoist a five gallon bottle up and over my shoulder every time we needed to replace it. It's working amazingly well, and more importantly, my husband is finally drinking more water to replace some of the soda! We're even considering getting a second one for our second home / Airbnb rental property.
