Avalon A4 Bottom Loading Water Cooler Water Dispenser UL/Energy Star

<p>The Avalon 3-Temperature Bottom Loading Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock is made with an innovative stainless steel body. Offering a choice of three water temperatures, easy-to-use push button spouts make it more convenient to use. Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. This machine's highly efficient compressor makes cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to brew tea, coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we've added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. A nightlight can be switched on from the back of the unit. This makes filling up your cup at night simple and easy. The dispensing area is 12 x 3 x 10" with 9" of space below the spouts. This accommodates most large cups or bottles. A removable drip tray at the bottom of the dispensing area catches any drips or spills. This water cooler is bottom loading with a cabinet to hold 3- or 5-gallon bottles. Water is pumped from the bottle through the machine. There's also an empty-bottle indicator that will light up when the bottle needs to be replaced. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star.&nbsp;</p>

Water cooler was easy to hook up and smaller than I expected. Makes a little noise, but not more than my fridge.

Great buy

Hot water is hot and cold water is cold! No problems installing and great to have desired temperature water in an instant. Very sturdy and classy disperser. Good choice

Avalon good choice

It is a little noisy when it refills but I love that it lets you know when to refill the bottles. It’s good that you can use 4 or 5 gallon bottles and you don’t have to lift them or turn them over

Bottom loader cooler

We rented a top-loading water cooler for our home, for years. But, it was getting harder for my husband to pick up the 5 gallon jugs to load on the top. So in order to save money and my husband’s back, we bought this bottom-loader water cooler!  We still have water jugs delivered, but the ease of putting the jugs in the bottom was well worth the purchase of this modern, quality product. We did call their customer service department when we were setting it up (nothing wrong; we had a question if clarification), and I have to say they were GREAT!!  Helped us out and were very kind and friendly!  I would highly recommend this water cooler.

Quality Product with Modern Look

I really like the unit with the exception of the loud noise. It makes when water cycles through the system after pouring water. I wish there was a way to tone down the rattling after the water cycles through.. other than that everything works fine.

Great except….

I really think from Sam’s warehouse I think they should be more careful when sending this type of order... my cooler came full of bumps... I didn't return it because my son really needed it, but this isn't right because I didn’t get it for free

Cooler

Works fine but it gives our water a weird plastic taste that we don't care for at all. We are using the same water, never had this issue with our other dispenser. Also, it's very low to the ground so you have to bend over to fill your container.

I ignored the reviews and I should have listened. The water cooler arrived dented and it was not done in shipping. The box was in perfect condition so the denting happened while at the factory. Then there’s the chemical taste. I have wasted about 7 1/2 gallons of water trying to purge the taste out of the machine. I thought I had it cleared until the machine sat for a few days unused. The chemical taste was back.  I’m really disappointed and would return it if it wasn’t such a pain to do so.

Go with another brand

This item is no longer ozone cleaning. It is uv. Even though the box says ozone, the model number has the word ozone in it the only thing that stated this change is the user manual. I feel duped. I paid much more for this model because of the supposed ozone feature. And after looking into cost of ozone maker to the cost of uv is much higher, so they are making these cheaper Ava selling at the same price and lying about what people are buying!
