[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into a new house in this unit has been perfect for the upstairs portion of the house and keeping it cooler… It seems to keep the entire upstairs called off and we have been able to keep our air conditioning on a better setting so we are not having a high though… We will definitely use this throughout the summer months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delonghi has solved my breezeway problem! My breezeway is not heated or cooled and neither is the garage that the breezeway leads into. This portable 3 in 1 air conditioner is perfect for cooling them both down when it's time to get some work done in the garage or some sewing done in the breezeway. The three in one is, cooling, dehumidifying and a fan. It is so easy to set up, a child could do it. Just screw on the hose and put the window kit in your desired window, plug it in and your set! It has wheels and handles so it's easy to move around when you want to change the room your cooling. A big plus is it's not very loud and it's very powerful! Another great thing is that it has no drip technology, so you don't have to worry about any leaking wherever you park it! It cools up to 500 square feet, and even has a timer to help you save energy. I'm so glad I found this portable air conditioner, it has made my life better and easier since I've had it!

I had a window unit before this. I prefer this air conditioner now. I definitely recommend this air conditioner to others I know.

All 3 settings throw cool air, it also has a timer. It has a remote so you don't have to get up to change settings or on/ off. It was very easy to install. It is on rollers for easy moving. Set up for this air conditioner was quick, we had it up and running in about 5 minutes. I like that it has a timer feature so that it doesn't have to run all the time, and you can set when it runs. Only complaint is it is not as quite as I thought it would be but the noise is easy to ignore.

It was very easy to install and came with everything to do it took me about twenty minutes from start to finish getting the tube set up and out the window with the window kit it came with. Another thing I really like about this unit is it's quite and that was something I was looking for in a air conditioner for my bedroom that way we could sleep through the night and not be waken as it gets very hot if the nights right now. Our bedroom is 300 square foot and it takes the unit about ten to fifteen minutes to cook the room down when it's off for a good amount of time so it doesn't take long at all. Another great feature I really like is the unit has three modes cool fan and a dehumidifier and where I'm at the humidity is just awful so we have used this feature quite a bit so get our humidity under control and I really love it everything has worked great we haven't had any kind of issues it runs and cools The room just perfect.

This Arctic Whisper PAC 500 sq ft Portable Air Conditioner does everything it says it does and more. It is on rollers for easy moving, has a remote control, runs very quiet,adjustable temperature settings, easy hook up, simple cleaning and it really cools off a room in no time at all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a smaller house built in the 1950's; in spite of having central air, our second floor (all bedrooms) has always been very stuffy when it gets very warm outside, even more so since we got new windows. We decided this would be the summer to get some extra A/C. We passed on a window unit, not wanting to risk damaging those new windows. We saw the DeLonghi Arctic Whisper portable (on wheels!) A/C, and thought, "That's the one we want to try." We are beyond pleased with everything about this unit. Setup instructions were clear and easy to understand. Our only problem came from our window well being a little too deep for the vent plate; but this was easily addressed by creating a shim from the strong foam packing material that was left from unboxing the unit and it's venting materials. We had things up and running in under 15 minutes, and it began cooling right away. Due to the excessive humidity the unit had to remove, we let it run all night. The next morning, things were cool and comfortable, so we switched the unit into 'Real Feel' mode, which has been working so well, we've kept it on that setting. A few times a day, the light turns green, and the unit will kick in for a little while until the light is blue again. One more thing I must mention - whoever came up with the idea for recirculating the condensate to cool the compressor is a genius. For our unit's first run, it had a LOT of humidity to remove, and we've had not even the slightest leak, not one drop. We absolutely love this A/C - Thank You, DeLonghi!
