We have had floor AC units before this one was bought for my daughter's house she is beyond happy with it it cools almost the entire downstairs and it works as it should there are no leaks which the last unit we had did week and it evaporates fine and there are no issues with it well worth the money

I really did the research on this product. As a retired person on a fixed income i need to watch where every dollar is going and that it is well spent. I also felt that I could setup the product myself and not need to incur an additional expense of paying someone to set it up for me. I live in Florida and we're having 90 degree days. I have a room that was added on and this room has no insulation. I really like this room, but it gets HOT back there!!! I am a 69 year old female and when I tell you that the setup was simple......it was very simple. Because it is on wheels, once I took the top of the box, rolled it to it's location, I was ready to plug in and feel the coolness :-) . Set up for me took less than 15 minutes and that's with me trying two different windows before settling on one, which by the way if i change my mind, moving would be no big deal. In another 10 minutes my room was very cool, I actually had to slow the fan...it was getting cold really fast. The best decision, I could have made. I can't imagine being happier with my purchase of the DeLonghi PACAN370G1W500Sq.ft Portable Air Conditioner. I was constantly running fans in that room. Utility bill has had very little impact.

First off, if you transport it on its side (and most likely you did) you have to leave it upright for a few hours to let the refrigerant settle, otherwise you could kill it. When I bought it the guy brought it to my car told me to make sure I let it sit upright for a little while before turning it on. I didn't know what "a little while" meant so I waited about half an hour and all I got was fan air. I checked the book and looked at reviews, the reviews said two hours and the book said six. I split the difference and waited four hours and instantly got cold air. If you buy this and don't get cold air then give it a few hours and try again! My only real issue is with the thermostat. First off the machine and the remote don't match. You can use the remote to change the setting on the machine, but not the other way around, changing the settings on the machine doesn't change the temp on the remote. Second I find the machine to be set lower than the actual setting. If I set it to 75 it'll keep running even though the thermometers in my house are reading 70 and the AC is in a cooler area. But then sometimes it stops when the room is 73. I often just find myself turning it off or turning it to whisper mode so I don't have to keep changing it. Otherwise it does a great job of cooling my living room and kitchen and even some of the up stairs.

This beats a window unit, without a doubt. Best nights sleep. Very easy setup. The only thing is you will probably need something as a base to set it on in your window... the plastic part the hose connects into is too short in height. Therefore hose wouldn't connect. Window frame in the way. A board the width of your window for it to sit on would work best. Then it should clear the bottom window frame.

Until we add the addition on to our house I didn't want to start the central air installation. This AC unit is perfect. Cools down the living room, kitchen and dining room quickly. I'm a hard person to please and I am amazed by how well this works. Super quiet too.

Use in my 350 sq ft sun room, living in FL it definitely removes humidity and cools room very well. Just wish vent tube was longer and window slider had extra panels as my window made us adapt with insulation board to fit. But would overall consider this unit a good buy and no regrets.

We purchased this unit to replace a still working window air conditioner. As I've aged, some ordinary tasks became difficult, and installing a window air conditioner in a second floor window was one of them. The DeLonghi portable air conditioner was a wise investment for that reason and more. It has plenty of power to cool the bedroom, and is as quiet as the window unit when you need it to be. No moisture issues on the window sill or floor as it removes the heat and moisture from the room. It's on casters so dusting is a breeze. When it's cranked up the whole upstairs is cooled. Granted, it hasn't been a hot summer yet, but this unit isn't even breathing hard to handle our humid weather. I'm sure it will do fine when summer in NE Ohio finally arrives.

We bought this because our house is big and the AC does not reach our bedroom very well. This unit really does the trick in cooling the room down and helping us sleep. The remote could work better and the operating instructions could be easier to understand. We have only used the AC feature so far.

This little A/C unit is truly the best. So easy to set up & cools like no other. Air is clean & fresh as it filters while running. Cleaning filter is a breeze, rolls with in reach very easily. Controls are vivid to see & simple to use. Internal technology for dehumidifying is remarkable. Remote a plus when your relaxing across the room. Thank you Sams for $50. off during your sale but would've bought it @ regular price after I researching this unit.

Works perfect for our 1br apt in Portland, ME. We have a small apartment but weve been using this for about a month now and its perfect for what we need. Its easy to move and cools pretty well. The instructions say to let it stand upright after being moved for 24 hrs ans we did. The quiet mode is nice and its really humid here but we havent had to drain it yet. It also has a timer and a remote.
