It is not recommended to modify the hose that goes to the window. My window is 5' from the floor and the hose is only 5'. I had to block the unit up to use it. Now I am not able to move the unit from one room or another without a lot of effort. The unit is heavy and it was difficult for me to get it on the blocks so I'm stuck using it in just one room. This was very disappointing and the only reason for a lower rating. It is easy to use and cools fine at this point in the summer with temperatures just now reaching the 90s.

Bought this to help my house unit on really hot days and it does an awesome job!

Bought this unit a few weeks ago. Used in my bedroom I am now sleeping like a baby.

Easy to assemble tubing, works great!

I am amazed how well it cools my large bedroom in the 105 degree heat in Texas.. Great buy

That's a good item now I can sleep well.

Cools my office within minutes and only use when needed. Therefore I don't have to cool the entire house.

An excellent buy. This air conditioner is quite and cools the entire downstairs of our home. A good investment

Cools great. App didn't work but that's all. This cools very well and is very quiet. We run it upstairs to help cool our master and 2 other small bedrooms- does well with the help of a box fan.

Needed supplemental AC to use a sun room as office space. Since the door is often shut, the central system didn't have adequate return air. This portable unit keeps the sun room cool and comfortable without freezing out the rest of the house.
