I purchased this unit 2 months ago and have not been impressed with the amount of cooling it provides. Seemed like a great deal but I get it, everyone has different expectations. Within the last week the unit has developed an unbearable noise, like when the fan kicks on it's rubbing against something. I'm just hopeful Sam's will allow me to return it. If so, I'll definitely be looking at purchasing a different unit.

The air conditioner itself doesn't cool that well. A smaller window air conditioner works better. It's big and takes up space vs a window unit takes up none. I could never get the app to work or let alone get the WiFi button to turn on. Just a pain plain and simple I returned it two days later.

I bought this unit a couple days ago and since setting it up it has RAISED the humidity in my room by 10% while in the dehumidifying mode! While in A/C mode it kept the humidity at around 60-65% but would not go any lower even after running all night long. The thermostat does not work correctly. It was set to 68 but kept the room at 63 all night. I spent most of the morning on the phone with their support technician who just read the manual to me. The fact that I can't accurately control the temperature or humidity in the room is a deal breaker for me.

Happy with the cold air it provides and different options including a timer with hours you can program. My only complaint would be the tube that attaches to the unit for the window exhaust. It comes off easily soI had to keep checking if it was still attached periodically. The mobility on wheels are great and the unit is fast to install

Purchased July 16, 2019. 2 weeks in, touch controls not working intermittently, unit won't turn back on after shutting off UNLESS unplugging for min 15min. Last week, and 2 nights ago a sound like a motor dying, grinding, squealing in the night when we use it.....only at night in one bedroom. Today, NO CONTROLS WORK. Unplugged for 1hr, then they work. SAM'S CLUB is no better. THEIR Customer Service so far has been disgraceful (online service) P.S we have an older DeLonghi from Another warehouse from 2013, and it's great..... NEVER one issue.

I'm not sure I see the upside. I thought a floor model like this would be convenient and easy to move around. This machine is literally 3 times as large as a window mounted unit and it still uses about half as much window space as a window unit does. Additionally, there is no way to make the venting tubes look nice or even "organized" as they are large, stiff, and obtrusive. I returned mine and bought a window unit for the same price. It works far better, looks much nicer, and took me about 7 minutes to install (and I've never installed one before).

Ive been running this unit for about a month. It took a few days to get used to the noise level and play with the settings. I now set the timer to start cooling the room about an hour before I go to bed. Sometimes I'll use the real feel mode and it will cycle the compressor on and off as needed to keep the room feeling comfortable. To keep constant white noise going I'll keep it in whisper mode through the night most of the time. Im using this in a 15 x 23 foot upper floor bedroom and it easily keeps the room cool. Great unit for the features and price. I paid about the same for a 10k btu lg and it doesnt have as many features.

This was purchased for bedroom use, appx. 18' x 15' and in fairness kept the room decently cooled on the RealFeel setting. The issue is that this is unusable in a bedroom. There is a feature called WhisperCool and even on that setting, unusable. We are not sensitive, picky, fussy or use to a quiet house. I hope that others do not read the "reviews" and believe that this unit is quiet, as it is Marketed to believe so.

This worked like a dream for the first season. We cleaned and stored it for the winter and took it back out for this year. It doesn't cool anymore. The fan runs and the compressor sounds like it's running, but it only blows room temperature air. Stay away unless you want to get a new AC in one year.

Very noisy.
