I bought this unit back in 2018 and turned it on the other day and it no longer produces cold air. Some other reviewers correctly pointed out that this unit does not have a real thermostat control. If you set it to 70 degrees, some nights it would just keep running even if it cooled the room down to the mid-60s. Other nights, the compressor would turn on and off, which would wake us up. Since the price was pretty good, we were ok with those nuances, but it shouldn't have died after just 3 seasons of use.

Saved us during the recent Hurricanes
