We bought this for our bedroom that gets hot at night and we didn't wabt to cool the whole house. It waa easy to set up and ibstructiobs were eady. Now we sleep bettee with a cooler bedroom.

Our AC unit for our house broke the hottest week in FL 90-100 degrees outside. We ended up purchasing 3 of these portable units to keep our 5 cats and 3 dogs cool while it took 10 days to get a new AC unit.

Bought this to replace one of my Whynter. This one definitely more colder and quieter. Whynter can't even cool my upstairs bedroom in midday during summer.

I bought this for my son's college dorm with a vertical sliding window. The window kit has an adaptor that's really long so it worked perfectly. The hose wasn't long enough for a high window, so we just put a wooden box under the unit to raise it up and that worked fine.

Bought it online. When we set it up, it had an error code. We called the Delonghi company first, but they were not responsive. The end of the pipe that connects to the window is also very weak and awkward. We returned the whole thing to our local Sams Club and upgraded to the more expensive Delonghi brand one (black), which is actually smaller and easier to set up, no issues at all.

My central A/C went out and after four days of suffering in 115 degree AZ weather, I found one of these at Sam's Club. I have been fighting with my home warranty company for a month now and it has just been approved for replacement. Thank God for this little guy!

I have this in a 250 sq. ft bedroom. The machine does blow cold air but does not seem to remove enough moisture. I don't think this will cool a 500 sq. ft. Room as stated on the box. It brought the temp. down from 80 to 70 in 3 hrs. But humidity level was still close to 50%. In the room. It also did not shut off by itself as I had or on auto and 72. I would say it's ok but not great, although I don't know if any portable is great.

I bought one of these last year and liked it so much that I bought another one for my bedroom. So much easier to install than a traditional air conditioner, cools wonderfully and the remote is a nice additional feature. Love that I can install it myself!

We've had this device for almost a month. Installation was straightforward. It has newer technology for energy saving as one of the features. We have the unit setup in the master suite. So far it has efficiently cooled our extreme southern Arizona bedroom suite. We monitor our power usage and so far we have not seen a spike in usage. We were concerned it would be too noisy during sleep hours however it has not been the case for us - and we are picky about noise. If I had to list a con it would be the glow of the display during operation but frankly it is easily covered. We are very pleased with results to date.

Only had for a short while but a necessary purchase for my daughter's room that's located above the garage. It cools the room off fast and the remote is a nice feature. The only small gripe is that the air duct sometimes falls out from the back of the machine so I had to move the unit closer to the window and make a minor modification. So far, so good. Hope it keeps up for years!
