Cools better than any other portable air conditioner I've ever tried and love the quiet setting. We loved it so much we bought two. The only thing we noticed is that it often flashes Lt meaning it is freezing up but it has a quick auto defrost mode. Also like that it dehumidifies as well as cools so we do not have to set the temp as low as we did with the traditional window air conditioning units.

This portable air conditioner has worked great. It is loud so if you're a light sleeper you might not want it running while sleeping but if you aren't a light sleeper you shouldn't have any trouble. The setup for the unit was quite simple. The unit includes both detailed and not-so-detailed instructions for setup and use. In terms of cooling ability, this device works really well. It only has one tube on the back (which in my research indicates less efficiency) but it was capable of cooling the room the unit is in. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought a house that had everything I wanted except central air which will have to wait. This unit is keeping a large part of family room and dining room a nice cool temperature. My only thought for improvement would be to work on the window insert part - it could be upgraded without much effort.

Bought this in case we lost power in a hurricane. Our generator can easily power it and it cools down the master bedroom and bath. Very easy to install and operate. Recently our house A/C broke, so we had a cool room for a couple of days until the repairman could arrive and fix. It is quiet and handles a large bedroom with a high ceiling OK.

This has been an outstanding unit so far. Great cooling, NO LEAKS, easy install, and a good remote with easy controls. I have another portable A/C that leaks and shuts off periodically. This unit has been 100% problem-free. I am thinking of getting a second one.

We bought this a month ago. We had a smaller one. Needed a bigger one. Like that the new ones have evaporation for the condensation. No more drain hose. Very efficient. Cools like crazy even in hot humid conditions and we are using it in a 42'x48' building with 15' walls. Mostly we have it set around 69-70° And it has maintained a temp of no more than 72°. We estimate that it is costing us approximately $1.30/day. We are extremely happy!

I bought this a month ago and was easy to install. I am using this to supplement the whole house air conditional that is now over 25yrs old and was not cooling the first floor as well as it used to and was only getting to 80 degrees. Although the 1st floor is a little larger than 500 sq ft, this unit was making the Living room quite comfortable and maintains about 75 degrees. When it seems a little extra cold there I put a fan on the floor and blow the excess cold air into the Kitchen and Dining room making both of these rooms comfortable as well. My dining room has always been hot in the summer as it has no AC vent or ceiling fan, so this has been a blessing now when eating dinner there! Did I mention it has so far been very quiet and does not disturb listening to the TV!. 4 stars is only because I can't really measure the area it cools, but for the $ it appears to be a very good value so far - let's see how long it lasts!

The unit arrived broken, which is frustrating because it's quite heavy to be hauling up and down stairs. When attempting to connect the hose to the window unit, the hose was so heavy that it would pull the window unit out of the window. All parts were laughably cheap.

Average. Not as good as similar last year 2019 model with room rating of 550 sq ft. This 2020 model rated 500 sq ft takes 2.5-5 minutes before compressor kicks in as stated in owner's manual. Also does not display current room temperature like last year's 2019 model. I have two 2019 models.

I do not have any other portable AC units to compare this to, but I can compare it to the two windows units I purchased and it does not meet expectations. This is more expensive, claims to have more BTUs but barely keeps my 300 SQ. Foot room cool, it does have cathedral ceilings but that doesn't account for the 200 SQ ft this claims to cover. It is quiet and sitting directly near it it blows cold air, the vent was very easy to set up, I had no choice for the location but to get portable. I have an 8000 BTU that is wifi compatible that is twice the unit this Is, obviously not going through the Hassel of returning
