Am very happy with it. Better than the 1400 BTU LG I got last year. Has more fan speeds, quieter, cools well. Only reason I took one star off is because the control panel doesn't dim enough at night and it's like sleeping with a night light on so that I have to use a sleep mask.

Purchased unit for 475 square feet living space and it will just not cool the area below 77 degrees by the afternoon when the outside temperature is 87 degrees. I am using two of these units to cool 936 square feet and I am very disappointed. My small house is only 5 years old and very well insulated. At best, I would only recommend this unit for 300 square feet or less.

I am very satisfied with this unit. I use it in my bedroom to supplement central air conditioning. I live in a condo and window units are not allowed. Bedroom never cooled well because it is on the 2nd floor and gets afternoon sun. This unit works great. Arrived with no damage. It is NOT as loud as other reviews indicate. I have not had to drain the unit to keep it running. I had a unit (not DeLonghi) several years ago that would shut off constantly and need to be drained. Not experiencing that with this unit.

seems quieter than most other ones and does a great job. we use it in the bedroom so i dont have to work my main unit so hard to keep an entire house cold when we are just in the bedroom. The fan seems to run all night and then the compressor kicks off and on.

We've had this about 2 months and it is exactly what we needed. Our house does not have central air. It was built back in the late 60's when it wasn't thought of to put in air conditioning. It's a tri-level and the den/family room is down a few steps but is hard to cool so we got this air conditioner since it looked easy to install and would serve our purpose. And it was easy to install and it's been wonderful every since. The room is a little over 500 sq, ft. but this air conditioner keeps it very comfortable.

Great unit ! When our Central AC broke we purchased this unit to help cool us while we waited for repairs. It did a great job! The temps were over 100 degrees and it kept us at a cool 75 degrees! The "real feel and quiet mode" settings are a plus. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Worked well for it's size. Trouble was, it wasn't big enough to do the area I needed it to do. It would not hold temperature in my garage office (8 ft x 12 ft). To be fair, the outer 2 walls are insulated, but the inner 2 walls are not, and the ceiling is pretty tall (12-14 ft). I ended up returning the unit and bought the bigger one. That one works much better.

Just saying it's Hot! And these homes in this area have no AC so off to the best deal I could find and available for pickup today! Sams club, surprised yes but, Great customer service the manager at the pick up was so helpful and so amazing thank you again. This AC unit works Well for a single room it will freeze you out of the room. It is not for an open flowing kitchen family room - so how did I solve that problem in these nice homes? I put a blanket up to divide the room and It worked! The ac works well sure it makes noise but then any unit will. If you don't want noise find a home with central ac.. It's keeping the room cooler and the kids can sleep in the floor in the family room if it's really that hot!

We bought this to replace an older failing portable A/C whose bucket we had to empty about 2-3 times a day when it was humid out. Somehow this unit takes care of all of that condensation and doesn't leak one bit. It cooled our 420 square foot attic bedroom beautifully. Wish I had known about this possibility a few years ago.

Our parents have a huge home and they sleep upstairs and in the recent heat wave--the upstairs temperatures reached in the upper 90's. So with that said, our parents have this unit in their bedroom and turn it on half an hour before bed--and they have been sleeping through the night it cool comfort. Both love the quietness of the unit and the sleek design.
