I literally threw a HP printer in the trash because I was fed up with their ink supplies costing a fortune and their focus on ink not printing. After doing some research to find a new printer, I found this Epson. The printer price seemed a bit high but then you don't spend a fortune on ink. The printer is well built and works very well. I would recommend the EcoTank printers to anyone needing a good printer

This is my second eco tank printer. Had the first one over 5 years. Started having an issue with the scanner pulling more than one sheet of paper. The glass scanner and printer still worked great. My daughter needed a new printer, so I gave her mind since she doesn't scan much. Purchased the 4850 about a month ago and have had no issues.

Do not buy any Epson! Serial number x8er025979, Model ET-4850: The Wi-Fi is defective again. This is my fourth replacement printer, and it is now out of warranty! You are selling a faulty product. All the errors are related to the Wi-Fi. This printer is great. I first started off with scanning pictures that I needed for a slide show. This was simple to do and the pictures turned out awesome! When I have printed some documents I was amazed at the speed in which it printed. Much faster than other printers I have used. The setup was a breeze and adding ink, to me, was super cool. The simplicity of inserting the ink bottle and letting it fill the tank was fun to watch. After about 10 minutes I was setup and full of ink and ready to start printing. This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-4850 Wireless Color Supertank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

I bought this today. I went through the setup and the last step is "Express Product Registration". After entering all the information, a red message presents saying "Enter a valid serial number". IT IS CORRECT!!! Epson, you need to test all the way through! I don't know if I would recommend this product, I just set it up! Fix this!!

Registration process was a bit silly for 2023 tech. Don't try to register it during the software install\setup... you'll end up with a red "Enter a valid serial number". You have to go to the website to register. Check the date they show for the warranty expiry and make sure it's not a year after the store got the printer, rather a year from the date you purchased the printer.

Quite literally the worst printer ever!! Will work perfectly fine for a few months (less than a year) and then it won't connect to your internet no matter how close you are to the router or how many times you reset. Terrible purchase, do not buy!

I have been using this printer for a few days and so far I really like it. The print is not as deep or dark but that's ok and it is a bit loud when it prints. Other than that, I really like it.

I had an Epson 4850 for over 8 years and not one problem. I purchases a new on 6/1/22 and it has a dark streak on everything I scan or feed paper to copy. Very unhappy with this printer. I need help with correcting this problem

I bought this printer a few months ago. I was happy with it until I tried to print photos. I would rate this printer for photos as a zero. I tried glossy and plain paper with several different settings.
