Keep coming back to Epson EcoTank printers for over 5 years. I print so much for my business along if my kids school. The joy of no expensive cartridges and what seems to be uninterrupted printing. It prints super fast in black and white. Ecotanks have replaced my office printers and I'm not going back.

Great printer. Do need to throughly read the manual before use. The touch command screen is easy to use after practice. It's just a different way to communicate with the printer that other brands don't offer. Easy to fill ink cavities and good print per page speed plus easy duplexes on printing. A bit pricey but worth the money especially on the ink costs!

Purchased at Sams after checking the manufacturers web site. Price there was $529.00 @ Sams it was $399.00 and as a bonus it came with an extra bottle of black ink. Great value.

Replace an old Epson printer with 4850. It's the best just as the last one was. I like the new ink bottles. But if you are on Windows 11, you need to upgrade to one of these new printers. It was east connection, but you need to take the time to apply all updates. It's the best and a great price.

Easy to set up, easy to fill tanks, print is very clean and crisp. Already printed over 200 pages with no problems. Did notice that colors are somewhat faint but that is just my observation. Overall I am very pleased. Was taken back when I saw that a “maintenance tank” will need to be replaced about emery two years. I had never seen that mentioned in any reviews. Makes me think that was intentional.

Excellent printer! Good, sharp prints with vibrant color. Replaces an HP 8610 printer that used old fashioned cartridges, looking to save a lot of money on ink! Even using Epson branded ink, it is half the cost of HP ink. Takes up half the space of my old HP printer. Prints about the same speed. Highly recommended!

Needed more - especially for the size. I mistakenly thought this would copy two sides automatically - but you need to print one side and then put the printed paper back in the machine and print the other side. Not sure why it needs a large auto-feeder at the top if it isn’t going to perform that function. Also, the colors are not nearly as vibrant as the other Epson models and HP models (and I reeeeeeaaaallly wanted to switch to Epson as I remember how good they were when they were sold at the Apple Store). Unfortunately, other machines have more features, are faster (especially when you factor in having to flip pages) and are less expensive, so I returned this and went with another.

Printer appears to be easy on ink but duplex printing is impossible on double glossy paper in high quality which is one of the main reasons we picked the printer out to begin with. FYI I did learn that the 3850 which is normally at least $100 cheaper is identical except it does not have the facts function which most people don't need anyway.

Relatively simple to install but having Mac's we had to find the print driver online which took a few attempts for the right one. Prints slower than anticipated, but with the ink wells, figured that would make up for things, however having an issue with quality of printing and paper jams. Having the ink wells makes it more difficult to move the machine around for fear of spilling the ink all over. Have printed less than 500 pages, 95% BW with about 5% coverage. Paper jams now almost every page, and the jet heads are clogged. I didn't realize they were clogged until it had run out of paper.....wasted over 50 envelopes. Figured out how to clean the heads, more wasted paper and ink. Still having jamming issues. Followed every suggestion to stop the issue. now the machine says to call for service. it's less than a month old and less than 500 pages printed. Price and ink are the only thing that's keeping me from returning this machine.

Quality and look of print is much lower then my 10 year old HP that just quit on me. Colors are very dull. It often resets and has way too many print errors for which I can find no reason. I have to keep cycling it on and off to get it to print something. Being its brand new, it seems pretty ridiculous. I probably will box it up and return it if I have the time. It seems like Epson just took their worst functioning printers and made it an eco tank so able to charge stupid prices. I do enjoy the ink which is why I gave it any stars at all. Hopefully HP will make one soon.
