Bought for home office. Intimidating out of box, but turned out very easy to set up, fill tanks and print.

the scanner doesn't work it is always error or Jam, and show the messages A paper ham has occurred. see the documentation for instructions on removing your originals. all the the time scan or copy. i am so tired about this Printer, I just purchased yesterday and today I have to return it.

I've had this printer for quite a while and for copies and office work it's great, but for printing pictures it's a absolute piece of crap. NOTHING has ever printed a quality or color setting even close to the picture on screen, and it's usually grainy. I've had Epson's, HP, Canon's, you name it since the 80's for home and work and I've never had issues with a printer like this piece of garbage. The best thing about it is the refillable ink tanks, but it's not worth one quarter of the ridiculous price I paid for it. I should have stuck with the HP I had.

Just purchased this POJ, and right out of the box it will not connect to my Netgear Nighthawk mesh Wi-Fi router. Called tech support and was told the printer will not work with mesh routers. No where does it say that in the product information! Tech support then said that I should change my router or use one of the connection options. Obviously, speaking to someone in a foreign they don't care. I have tried to use this POJ for a couple of days now and have found other issues with it too. The auto feeder doesn't work very well and results in a paper jam, and the color printing could be a lot better. Lastly everything on it is slow. This printer is a pure disappointment. All those who have given this printer a four star or above either got a different printer, or I guess I just got a POJ. Either way, after talking with tech support I will not be getting another Epson!

I purchased this printer from Sams Club because of the features and the 2 year warranty. The printer is decent. When I start to register it the problems began. It refused to take the Serial # telling me that it was invalid. I called customer service and the representatives are very difficult to understand because of the language. They sent me a link to my email to finish my registration for my warranty. I used it to register my printer and it showed the warranty starting before my purchase date and ending very short of 2 years. I called customer service again. I was told to just keep my receipt. I told the representative that this was unacceptable and called again. I was then asked to provide a receipt of purchase, a picture of the serial number and an copy of the email from Epson showing that I had registered the product. I was told to call back after I had sent the information to them. I called back and was told they had received the request information and would update my warranty information within 30 days. I have checked again and it shows that the warranty was updated to 1 year from the purchase date instead of 2 years. After at least 3 incident tickets my problem is not corrected. I have spent to much time on this situation and I do not trust Epson to provide any support services in case I need to use the warranty.

I got tired of paying exorbitant prices for HP ink. So, when it broke, I opted for a change. I did compare the cartridge less HP 7602 to this one and also the cannon equivalent. READ DIRECTIONS FIRST! Go Slow, read everything. I downloaded the app. I also went to the site to see if there was anything different. There wasn't. you can do it either way. Easy set up. Took a little bit of time, (less than an hour) initializing, aligning print head etc. but not complicated. It is quick printing, a little faster than the HP 9025 that went caput! No one shows what the print or copies look like for people to judge the quality. 1. Copy of a survey done from the ADF. the one on the left is an original copy. The one on the right is from the Epson printer. 2. The second is a print directly from an apple 13 pro max iPhone. There is a little more yellow in the copy than the actual photo (3rd picture) and what the house color is, but it is sharp. It is done on regular plain paper. No color adjustments were done to the printer. The Printer was set up right out of the box. So far when first using it, I am pleased with the results.

The auto registration wouldn't work with the SN# on the printer. Not sure why but never worked. The printer doesn't print true colors so before you print something you may want to do a trail print and adjust the colors. I printed something that had maroon and it came out hot pink!! It also doesn't print automatically right away, I always have to say okay on the printer before it will print.

Printer set-up was a piece of cake out-of-the box. ADF for Fax jammed on a 3-page job and never worked again. I need it primarily for scanning and faxing to the VA for disabled veterans' claims. The Auto Document Feeder jams when one page gets about halfway fed. You can hear the feeder struggling to pull the sheet, then the Epson beeps and tells you there is a Jam in the ADF, etc. I powered down the machine, unplugged it, tried every tip and trick on Epson's site, the ADF is simply garbage. If you need to feed from the top, get another machine, period. You will likely be returning this one. It is a COMMON reported issue.

I have had this printer for about 2 years now. There's little to enjoy here. 1) The printer is incredibly challenging to reliably get connected to WiFi. I assure you, this is not a user error - I am an IT administrator and deal with network connected devices all day. This is one of the most challenging devices I have had to deal with connecting to the WLAN. Once it's connected it seems to stay connected, but it is a chore. 2) Print Quality is not good. For the price of this printer, the quality is just not acceptable. Colors are washed out, text is not crisp and page to page the printing quality isn't even consistent. Not office quality printing at all. 3) Color printing. Good luck here. I can't tell you how many times I have had to use the clean print head function, only to have to run the power cleaning after (which recommends you wait 12 hours before printing again). Then to just have a garbled mess come out of the machine. I don't have a week to wait for my print job, Epson. This is trash. Yeah, ink is cheaper than toner. However, go buy yourself a Color laser jet. This one is not worth the hassle. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.

Love this printer. The print quality is as good as laser jet. The price of ink refill is soooo much ceaper then HP's ink. We used the printer to make Christmas Cards and the quality of the print was great. HP wanted 440.00 for replacement toner. It was cheaper to purchase this printer then the toner, plus the replacement ink for this printer is cheap.
