I’ve had it for about 3 weeks. Printed 200+ newsletters. Text comes out a little light compared to screen colors but it neatly prints. Last page comes out first which beats my other Epson 640 which stacks them last page on top. Makes nice copies. Haven’t tried the fax yet

This is the first time buying a printer with refillable ink. My previous wf5620 printer just stopped working and i was tired of trying to figure out how to fix it but it was old. The et-4850se printer was pretty easy to set up. I followed the instructions on the screen on the printer and the phone app. I was worried about filling the ink and spilling but that didn’t happen. I did wait to set up the printer when i had time with no distractions. As part of the set up you have to select the best printed samples with the better alignment and least white lines- sometimes hard to tell between a couple samples but the printing is fine. I like that i can see how much ink is in printer by just looking at the front of the printer. You can see the ink levels for each color. Setting up printing from my phone was easy. When comparing models I had to make sure the fax option was included. To me, it's not an all in one printer without that. It doesnt have the option for legal size paper, but i never used that option in my old printer so it was not an important feature for me. The scanner worked fine also. The touch pad on the printer is small but i have not had any issues using it. I like that I can print easily from my phone. Happy with my purchase and would recommend to a friend.

New ink bottles make it much easier to refill ink without spilling any. This is a major improvement. The new ink bottles also have a positive re-seal if you don't use the whole bottle. Printer works great... just what you would expect from Epson. Not my first EcoTank; so much more economical than cartridges. Love it.

Great printer, set-up was challenging, with phone app. with touchscreen, etc. I'm on 5GHz wifi, and it doesn't like 5GHz wifi, so I had to use the wi-fi direct feature. It would be helpful to just instruct people how to do it if they have 5GHz wifi that is not switchable.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and finally set it up. The mechanics of that went fine. When it got time to fill out the registration form online it all went South. It refused to take the Serial # repeatedly telling me that it was invalid. So I call customer service of course which must be offshore because I was barely able to understand what they were saying. Finally they sent me a link to my email as an alternative way to finish my registration for my warranty. That worked, or so I thought. It said registration of your product was successful. So I click on the link that says details of your warranty and lo and behold, supposedly I bought this back in November of 2022 and my warranty runs out next week (Jan. 16 2024) So on paper I have a 1 week warranty. That leads to the next customer service call and I use the term mildly. This person speaks worse English than the first, tells me there is nothing he can do about the website misinformation and just hold onto my receipt for future reference. If I have a problem they will be asking me to scan it and email it for proof of purchase date. I believe I was supposed to have a couple of years extended warranty for purchasing this at Sam's but fat chance of that ever working out. This has been a very poor first experience with EPSON and Sam's receipt doesn't mention the warranty extension. I do not recommend this purchase for the aforementioned reasons.

I bought the Epson for reputation and to cut down on ink use. I liked my previous Canon printers other than ink cost. The document feed as noted by others just doesn't seem to work for me. I've been working around that fault. My biggest frustration so far aside from the printers consistent fussiness is that I can't get this thing to print #6 envelopes. It seems to only accept #10's and I haven't even found a way to do custom paper sizes. If I had to repurchase this unit I would do some serious re-evaluation first.

This printer worked fine for the first few months but then the colored ink quit showing up on the flyers indicating it was not functioning properly. All of the inks showed ink levels above 3/4 full. Several cleanings got the blue and cyan to work somewhat but never did get the magenta to show. So disappointing. I missed out on doing voluntary flyers for the Senior Citizens to let people know about the breakfasts, flea markets, bingo games, etc. Attendance to these events was way down because we couldn't get the flyers out to the public. So sad, I spent allot of money on this printer to have it be totally worthless.

I like this printer but wish it had an actual touch pad on the front. For a short time I had the ET 4800 that had a touch pad and Digital Touch. This only has the Digital Touch. More difficult to use options especially if you are older and. Eyesight is limited. Otherwise it has great paper storage, 200plus sheets, double sided printing and fax capability. My old printer of almost 3years had that but it died. Hopefully this will last longer. I am old school and do a lot of printing and the ink lasts forever. A great savings.

Horrible! Do NOT buy! I've had it set up less than 6 months %26 keep having multiple issues. I continuously have to clean the print heads to get it to print correctly. The document feeder jams constantly so I try to scan it from the glass. Sometimes that works, other times, I get blank white pages. Very unreliable %26 very sorry I went with this one after all my research. It's such a headache %26 I wish I would've set it up sooner so I could return it. I'll go back to HP %26 pay the ink prices %26 at least I know that it'll work.

Great printer, scan, copy, fax, wi-fi and duplex. Great color, with great features.
