[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 10yo LG Top Loader after the control board went out on the old one. We were so impressed with how the old unit worked we continued with LG. This new unit does loads even faster, uses less water (but plenty to saturate all items and clean well), is very simple to use, and is a great value for the cost. The new design makes reaching items in the bottom of the tub easier. We’ve had the new unit for a couple weeks and have run NUMEROUS loads of every kind and variety, including small loads to very full loads - everything comes out clean! It is amazing how it can spin at 950rpm and be so quiet with virtually no vibration. Very easy to set up and maintain. Control panel took some adjusting to use but is simple once we identified our preferred settings. Black top and control panel does gather fingerprints but is easily wiped down. Consumer Reports had this listed as their 2nd best Top Loading Impeller Washer, only 1 point behind the #1 washer which was also an LG! We are very pleased with our purchase. Highly recommended!!

I bought this a few days ago. As someone else posted: When you set the washer to NORMAL, the default settings are WRONG. When you set it to QUICK Wash, the default settings are WRONG. The user manual indicates what they should be but that is not what happens. It defaults to SUPER HOT and HIGH SPIN for most of the DEFAULTS. Sure.. you can modify them but why have a cycle setting if you have modify it EVERY TIME. I am in agreement here with this reviewer. I don't want to return my machine, but I will. So frustrating!!

My husband and I purchased this a month ago and I have to say that the more I use it, the more I like this washing machine! I didn't think the app would be especially beneficial, but it is as it lets me know when it's time to clean it. When cleaning towels that are especially dirty, using the Deep Clean cycle really works well. The only thing I do not like about this washing machine is that there was no all-white option - the lid is black with dark charcoal lettering so it is very hard to see. The designers should have an all-white option!!

We simply believe this was a great investment as previously we had a refurbished washer. We love all the features and the fact it sends phone notifications to let us know when the cycle is over especially since have 2 boys we forget about switching clothes based on our busy schedule. I would definitely recommend this to family & friends!

My reason I can only give it 3 stars is that the inverter for the motor has terrible coil whine. It makes a really loud, high pitched noise that drives give my wife and I a headache. If I was 20 years older, this wouldn’t be an issue because it’s normal to lose the ability to hear higher frequencies. We called maintenance to have them try and look at it, but the maintenance man was older, and therefore could not hear the sound and thought my wife and I were crazy. He wouldn’t listen to me when I tried to explain the issue, so he left telling me everything was fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this when we decided to get rid of our old front loader. I love the large capacity. What I used to do in 2-3 loads I can do in 1 now. I also love that I can wash my king size comforter in it! I like the variety of washes from a deep wash to a quick one. I really enjoy that it has an app and will notify me when the cycle ends. I do find it is gentler on the clothes than the front loader or an agitator. However it hasn’t had any trouble getting out my 3year old or 8month olds messes. I have had to do a little pre scrub or a second wash every once in a while on the 8month olds messes but it still gets the job done.

Please someone just help me figure out the cycles? Whats best for fluffy blankets? I’m really confused with the bedding cycle. (Actually all of the cycles) It says to use it to wash bed items. But it also says non absorbent bed items. That’s confusing to me because everything absorbs. I tried that cycle for 2 bed blankets, okay yes both fluffy. It stopped, the washer turned off. Had to disconnect it and power it again and the tub was full of water. So confused. I had to do the spin only option to drain the water. Then I tried to wash another blanket but now In normal cycle . The water was drained but the blanket was really wet, soaked. Had to do the spin only cycle again. Last time I’m washing a blanket that’s “non absorbent”, it’s not cotton and it’s not fluffy. It says it will take its 50 min to wash ???.?.? Why so long ? It’s only one blanket, doesn’t take that much space. Makes no sense to be because it should last less than that’s. I say no more than 35 is okay for me. But it washed and no issues.

I purchased this washer a few months ago, and I am quite disappointed with its performance. The washer does not clean clothes properly, often leaving a white or grey residue on them. The drum does not fill with enough water - when I look through the glass top, I can see that the water level never rises above a quarter of the drum, even with a full load of clothes. So the top layer of clothes doesn't even get wet. Even when using the deep wash cycle and extra rinse feature, there is very little improvement. Additionally, the washer lacks sufficient agitation to clean the clothes properly. The drum spins gently, causing the clothes to float around in the water with minimal movement. Another issue is that the detergent and softener dispenser fills up with water after every wash, requiring me to remove and empty it manually. Furthermore, the spinning cycle is quite loud and causes half of my upper floor to shake. Unfortunately, my experience with this washer has been far from satisfactory, and I have decided to return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 star review mainly because you cannot see the power button in a room where the light is not right on top of the machine. Who ever has ever heard of this? A design flaw for sure. The panel is difficult to see in general. My other gripe is the horrible directions and does not come with quick start, easy to understand directions. I have no complaints when it comes to washing and the clothes getting clean A on that. I wanted a large capacity to wash my blankets and heavy loads. Fix the panel design.
