Out of balance tires.

I purchased Michelin defender, tires at the Greenwood, Indiana Sam’s Club and they are great. However, the installation was terrible. I drove around the city for about a week and then took them out on the highway. They rode very rough and actually shook me while driving on the road. In traveling to the Sam’s Club in Columbus, Indiana, I had them check the the balance of the wheels (tires) as a result they had to rebalance every wheel because they were at least 2 ounces off and one of the wheels was 6 1/2 ounces off. The man installing the wheel weights said that none of wheels required more than 1 ounce of weight. After I got back on the road, they rode smoothly for the first time. Also, I had a low pressure tire warning, and found that Sam’s club had not calibrated the air pressure sensor. (Also, this is the second time I’ve had wheel balance problems from the Greenwood, Indiana Sam’s Club store. In my opinion Sam’s. needs to better train their personnel at this store!) Thanks to the Sam’s Club in Columbus, Indiana. I am now riding on a well, balanced set of tires! Thanks for taking my comments.

"Mislead", just like Kool & the Gang

I experienced somewhat of a misleading ad. To get the tires I purchased I had to do it online. The ad stated that the tires were $258.99. The ad also stated that I would get $80 off if I purchased a set of 4. Also, there would be a charge of $20 per tire to install each one. The actual cost per tire was actually $277.99 and not the $258.99 that was advertised. The $277.99 was never mentioned until I actually paid my bill. The tires were already installed; so, I let it go! Lesson Learned!

Auburn Hills, MI Sam’s is great

Received very good service 2x. When I walked in to enquire a week prior and when I walked in to have them installed. 2 different sets of employees and all very helpful and down to earth. Very pleased with my experience and recommend Sam’s Auburn hills, MI for tires.

Never Fails to Try Again ?!?

I had been disappointed in the past of the Tire Department Service, not the tires. So I had gone elsewhere for some years. I decided to try Sams Tire department again because they are so close to where I work. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they got my tires in and schedule my vehicle to get the tires installed. The techs were professional and helpful. If you had problems in the past which alot of people have, give them another shot. I am looking forward to returning for tire rotations and service ?!?

Robinson Township Tire and Battery guys are great!

The guys at the Robinson Township store are GREAT!! Very helpful, pleasant, and take their time. I ordered the tires, paid when we came for install in 3 days later. Tires were on the car 3 days after ordering. I recently ordered these same tires at the Washington, Pa store. It's been 2 weeks.... still no tires and no idea when I'll get them. I was told I had to pay upfront when placing the order, which I did. Two weeks later, I'm still being told they didn't receive my tires. I showed up for the install appointment a week after paying and wasn't told they didn't have them. I got an email that day that the tires were ordered and I would pay when they arrived. Complete mess. The Robinson store is the only store I'll get tires if I continue with my Sam's Club membership.

Great service! Great tires!

Went to Washington Sam's Club as a walk-in for tires. I was so impressed by Steve who found the Goodyear tires I wanted that were on sale and he installed them in less than an hour. The Goodyear Assurance tires offer a smooth and quiet ride, they coast well and corner well. Great service! Great tires! Thank you Steve!

Tire Pressure Sensors

I had four tires installed on my car, I have tire pressure sensors and I told them about it before they put the tires on if that was going to be a problem, they assured me it would be no problem. Well now my tire pressure sensor is going off and I checked and the pressure is fine in all four tires, so now I have to take my car back to have it serviced to have it fixed, and I hope they haven't messed up my tire pressure sensors.

Worth its weight in Gold!

I purchase my ties exclusively from Sam’s Club for this great installation and protection package. It pays for itself after the first rotation, and the road hazard offers piece of mind for the future. I have even added this package to tires that we pre installed on my new vehicles.

Great customer service

Great customer service! The Service technicians were very friendly and helpful. I purchased the tires on sale. On the day of the installation my 4 new tires were installed within 40 minutes. Originally, I had been told it could be an hour or longer but they were done quickly and efficient. I definitely will use Sam's Club for all of my future tire purchases.

Installation Disappointment

Installers were somewhat friendly, but not as helpful as I had hoped. They were slow to come to the register. They assumed I knew what the procedure was, but I did not, so I had to ask them questioins about what to do and when. They were about an hour and a half behind in finishing jobs. I told them some special handing instructions for the new and old tires, and they did that.Plus for them! When I drove the car away it took me a few minutes to realize that the tire inflation sensors were not working. They never worked in my 500 mile round trip that started the next day. I am not even sure that they transferred the sensors from the old tires to the new ones. I assumed that would be standard practice. They may have just not reset them. I will try to get them to remedy the situation.
