Sam’s Club tire service is great!

Here’s a polished version of your review: Lou was great and provided superb customer service during the installation of my tire at Sam’s Club. The process was quick and easy, and I was back on the road in no time. I was so impressed with the experience that I shared it with all of my coworkers and told them how smoothly everything went. Thank you, Lou, for the excellent service!

Drastic Changes Make Poor Customer Service

I was very disappointed with Sam's Club refusal to honor my six-year warranty on my purchase to replace previous tire also purchased from Sam's Club....citing that Sam's Club has changed their warranty length since I purchased my tires. According to my warranty I should have had a year left and I was way under the mileage limit. Never received any notice that Sam's club was invalidating warranties received prior to their decisions to make changes.

Grapevine rocks

The tire crew was phenomenal. Special shout out to... Karson (?? He had long hair) who educated me on my tire & installation options. Its not often I get knowledgeable, patient customer service. He answered all my questions without getting an attitude. He made a great tire recommendation that I have been pleased with.

Too many return trips required

The first time, the sensors were not properly coded. I had to return to get them recoded so the light would turn off. After two days, the light turned on again. Now, I have to set up an appointment to replace a bad sensor. Last September, I bought a set of tires for my wife's car and had to go back because at least one tire was not properly balanced on the first attempt.

Stripped LUGNUTS

Your tire “professionals” Stripped 2 nuts on my Jeep Wrangler’s passenger front tire and I was told I needed to purchase 2 more lug nuts at auto zone and then I had to take my vehicle to a real tire shop to get the stripped nuts off and install the tire the 2 lug nuts were stripped on. NEVER AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT MY HORRIBLE TREATMENT AT YOUR FACILITY AND NOT TO GET TIRES FROM YOU

Poor Service

I paid for the tire installation package, along with new tires on 6/9/2026, which includes replacement tire pressure sensors. When I was informed that the tires were installed, I went to drive away when I noticed the tire pressure alarm light was on. When I informed the staff at Sam's, they informed me that they had reset the tire pressure alarm, only to discover the low pressure light was still on. I again informed the staff at Sam's that the low tire pressure light was still on, and I was informed that I needed to drive 5 miles to reset the low tire pressure tire alarm, after driving 8 miles, the low tire pressure tire alarm was still on. Again I had to wait while the staff at Sam's attempted to reset the low tire alarms on my car. The staff at Sam's again assured that they had went into the car's computer and reset the low tire pressure warning. Still, again, the light went back on. Once I returned to my residence, I researched the resetting of the low tire pressure sensors, after 10 minutes of research, the low tire pressure light went off. Multiple attempts by the Sam's staff to initialize the replacement low tire pressure sensors, all ended in failure. Each time the staff at Sam's told me the low tire pressure light had been reset, was a lie. While my wife and I were waiting for the low pressure tire sensors to be reset, my wife asked the Manager for at least a gift card and we did receive a $20.00 gift card. I do not recommend anyone purchase the tire installation package at the Sam's club in C.B., Ia. Poor service! A member of the Sam's staff informed me one time during this ordeal, that the employee who installs and initializes the low pressure tire sensors had just went out to lunch, and wanted me to wait until the staff member returns for lunch! I wish now I would have taken my business to Jensen Tire and Auto, they have competitive prices and good service, unlike the poor service at Sam's Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Watch your vehicle like a Hawk before it's damaged

Sams Club Employee--Tire Technician was not educated on tire installation, does not have proper tools or knowledgeable enough to install these tires. Tires are tough to get the bead sealed on the wheels, Sams did not supply the proper tools equipment for this situation. Tire Tech was lost, I stopoed him several times during installation before he danaged my wheels on my truck during the 4 hour time it took him. The Store Manager did refund the instalation cost. I had to take ny Truck to my dealership where I bought my Truck to have the tires re balanced because they were not balanced properly the same day. I informed store Manager of the situation showed him my dealership invoice to re install the tires. He apologized and said he ge would handle the situation. Who knows if hat actuality happened. I told him the entire department needed training on how to install and balance tires not a single other employee could help him including the Department lead who was more lost than he was. This could get someone kiled. If there was a 0 star option I would choose that. Watch your technician from start to finnish. Or buy the tires and have them installed somewhere else

Severe Damage

I brought my truck in for new tires. Upon attempting to lift my truck, my rear suspension was damaged and my truck was not drivable. It had to be towed and Ford dealer is attempting to repair the damage. No one at Ford has ever seen this happen. It has been 2 weeks that I am without a vehicle. A claim has been filed with Sam’s Club, but I have not been notified of the status. To drive my car in, and it be inoperable after attempting to install new tires is peculiar and disheartening.

Skip the tire department

Horrible experience from online appt booking, to having to go in store to purchase and then come back the next day for the appt only to have Sam’s refuse to install because I have aftermarket rims. Even corporate said the policy they claimed doesn’t exist.

Not trustworthy

Installer damaged the sensor when installing tire, and didn’t advise me, when I mentioned the light is on, he advised me I had to drive it for a while, well it’s been 2 weeks and light still on, so I took it to the Nissan dealer and was told that the sensor is broke. I went to Sam’s to replace the tire since it was covered under warranty, and still had to pay $100 for warranty because Sam’s no longer carry the tires they sold to me, not sure why I’m punished cause they Sam’s don’t carry the tire anymore. Now with a damaged Sensor it’s costing me way more than a warranty tire. THANKS SAM’S for nothing!!
