On June 19,2026 I had four tires replaced on my vehicle. During the process one of the wheels on my vehicle was damaged. I notified my local Sam's Club which performed the services on my vehicle, of the damage to my vehicle's wheel that occurred during the tire installation process. I must say that my local Sam's Club was fantastic in handling the measures to be taken to take care of the damaged wheel. I was advised to get a price of the cost to replace the wheel by the store manager. I contacted my local dealership and received the cost to replace the wheel on my vehicle. The store manager advised due to the cost of the wheel, a claim had to be filed with the corporate office. The manager filed the claim with the corporate office on June25, 2026 while I was present in the office. I was finally contacted by Walmart claims services by mail on July 6, 2026. It advised of the claims manager that would be handling my claim. The letter advised that I need to contact my claims manager by phone or email. I tried contacting my claims manager the same day the letter arrived. I had to leave a message for a return call. I called and sent emails from July 6, 2026 until July 13,2026. My claims manager called on July 13, 2026, but I missed the call. I called back later the same day and left a message for my claims manager to return my call. I still never received a return call. On July 16, 2026 I went to my local Sam's Club and spoke to a store manager. The store manager even tried to contact my claims manager, but she had to leave a message for a return call. On July 16, 2026 my claims manager finally contacted me by email requesting more information about the incident involving the damage to my vehicle's wheel. On July 17 and July 20, 2026 I left messages for my claims manager to return my calls. I never received any return calls from my claims manager during this whole process. On July 20, 2026 I received an email from my claims manager advising that they were taking the position of the insurance betterment principle. They were not going to replace my damaged wheel with a new wheel due to the age of my vehicle. I voiced my objection to this decision due to the fact that my wheel had no damage or visible wear prior to the tire installation that caused damage to my wheel. My claims specialist advised that the offer they would be making would be a reasonable offer for the wheel damage due to the age of my vehicle. I didn't agree with the stance that was being taken with the insurance betterment principle, but I felt I had no other choice, but to accept the offer that was proposed. I can say this matter was handled very poorly by the claims services office. I can say that I will probably never have tires put on any of my vehicles again by a Sam's Club service center if this is the way that they are going to treat their customers after damages that occur while services are being performed.
