Technician Lacking

When i started to pull off the liw tire pressure light was on. I immediately informed the technician his responded that that was normal to drive it for 20 miles at highway speeds. The next mirning the light was still on. Went back to Sam's for a technician to realize the tire only had 18 psi vs the 32 psi recommended.

Didn't want to install

I had ordered a set of tires online and had them deliverd to the store for install. My tire and rim size isnt anything special and the rims are 20"s . An older gentleman ( Maybe David) in the automotive area didnt really seem like he wanted to help me. he was confused on my order and what my vehical was. He told me they might not be able to install them, then started to processing the order after cancelling the orginoal order. The other staff there said he gets like that sometimes. Honestly, i wasnt happy with how he treated me and I ended up not getting my tires. I ended up going to discount tire and they took very good care of me. I paid more for the tires but.. service was excellent. He told my the rim would not fit on their machine. tires are 265/50/R20. I saw an SUV in there with 20 inch rims. I asked the staff at Sams if I was coming across wrong or something. They said no. I dont really apprecate what I had to deal with and how he handled the situation. I dont feel he was being honest with me. btw your callin system is horrible. I was there and the phone was ringing off the hook and 3 people working there just looked at each other. I was not able to talk to anyone at the store initally and discuss my tire purchase.

Tire installation

Not happy with the service. I went in with all sensors working. When driving home sensors coming on saying tires were low. Sensors should have reset when new tires installed.. Made apt to have reset, when we took back, there saying 2 sensors werent working and now we have to pay for them. If this was the case, that information should have been given when the tires were installed.

Just got a set of Goodyear Assurance MaxLife 2 tires (235/65R17) installed on my 2024 Kia Carnival at Sam's Club, and I'm seriously impressed. First off, the pricing and the current promotion were awesome—ended up saving me $100 right off the bat. The installation process at Sam's was incredibly fast and smooth, too. As for the ride, the difference between these and the factory Nexen tires is night and day. The traction is amazing and they handle beautifully. You can literally feel the jump in quality the second you drive off the lot. Highly recommend these if you need a solid upgrade for your vehicle.

The final installation was quick and job done was awesome. However, I had an 11:00 appointment the first time and after waiting an hour and a half, there were still several cars ahead of me. I couldn't wait. I left and came back the next day where it was done in a timely manner. Why make an appointment and then have such a long wait? The customers have things to do as well.

the tire department is a mess. they couldn't even take off my tires to replace with the new. had to go some where's else to install my new tires. Bought new tires for my wife's truck and had to bring it back 3 times for them to balance the tires since they forgot to do that. Never again.

Terrible installation

They sent me on my way & the tires weren’t balanced right. I had to wait with fresh steaks while they fix them. When I got up the next morning one tire was flat. A friend fixed it. The valve was not tight. Now my sensors are out. Terrible customer service & inexperienced installers. Will never be back.

Courteous crew who fit me in without an appointment. I live more than 90 minutes north of Bangor and try to accomplish as much as possible into our monthly trips to resupply. Sam’s Club is always one of our important stops. I needed new tires and had decided on buying them at Sam’s before departing home. I had assumed they could make the installation while we shopped. I didn’t realize I needed sn appointment. Fortunately, the Sam’s Club employees said they’d fit me in if I returned in a couple of hours. I did so and had my truck back within an hour or so. I was pleased to safely drive back home on good tread. What a relief! I’ll be sure to make an appointment next time, and do my shopping around that.

Very bad customer service

I can't even rate the quality of the tires because I never got them installed. I made an appointment to get them installed and 45 minutes after I had been waiting at the store they came out to tell me that they couldn't install them because the only person who knew how to take my wheels off wasn't there that day, so they made me comeback the next day first thing in the morning all for them to say the same thing after I had already taken time off work to be there both times! They had no regards for me, and they didn't even give me a full refund because their register “was not letting them” for some reason. Needless to say that I'm NEVER getting tires from them again. Such poor customer service!

My appointment was at 10: AM. When I arrived at the store, no one was there at the desk to wait on me. I arrived before !0: AM. I waited for at least 10 minutes before anyone came. I explained to Steve what I wanted done. I want my two new tires put on the front and my tire valve covers put back on. In the past, no one did that. I once had all four-tire valve covers. I also said that I would wait in the waiting area for my vehicle. Steve said, " My vehicle would be ready in one hour. "That meant it would be ready at 11: AM. I gave Steve an extra 1/2 hour, which would be 11:30 AM. I went to check on the progress of my car at approximately 11:45 AM. My vehicle was not ready. The attitude that I got from the guy who works in that department was rude. When I got my vehicle, it was after 1 PM, and no one came to tell me that it was ready. I made it very clear that I would wait for it in the waiting area. My dashboard camera was tampered with. The setting was changed back to 1/2021, and the time was wrong. This was discovered after I had left the parking area. No one came to the waiting area to let me know that my vehicle was ready. That was my first and last time that Steve or anyone else would be allowed to touch my vehicle. I am still not happy with the treatment that I received at the tire department. This incident took place 3/2026.
