Unprofessional and Lazy

After several calls and finally, I had to ask for a supervisor to get me an appointment, this is just the start. After the appointment was set at 12 pm somehow it was rescheduled to 1 pm without any notice, at 1 pm I gave the installation tech the keys to my car to install the tires. They called me 90 minutes later stating that they can't mount my tires because they don't have the specs for my car. I found out that they were able to install my tire but somehow they had to remove it and I had to wait another 90 minutes so they can put back my old tire. A whole day wasted on a job they couldn't even finish. I picked up my tires and took it to a local tire shop which he installed them in less than 40 minutes with the same Sam's price. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else unless you really enjoy shopping at sams for hours.

Can't get service, so what is the point?

I utilized Sam's to buy my new tires because I thought it'd be convenient to get my tires rotated for free while I shop. I even renewed my membership to keep the benefit. Only when I went to get my tires rotated, there was nobody at the service center. Three other people were standing around waiting, not a person to be found for help. Being that it is a 30+ min drive, I tried to call to make an appointment. Only I can't even get in touch with the local club and only get forwarded to a foreign call center. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy tires from Sam's again. Now I have to spend extra money to get the tires rotated somewhere else.

Tires

Ordered tires online and it took about 2 weeks. I had an appointment for my tires and I arrived early was one of the first ones there. They said they would call me when it was done, and I waited for 3 hours. I approached them and they said the truck has been sitting in the parking lot for a while. When I mentioned to them, why didn't no one call me, they said sorry and handed the me the keys. No sympathy, they acted like they didn't care.. Never again.

Andrew is the best

We came in this morning to get tires without an appointment and after ringing us up, we got a call back a few minutes later and were informed that we did not actually need to have them changed. Andrew explained what was causing the problem and that new tires would not solve it. He gave us a full refund and saved us tons. We have been going to Sam's for years and this was the best experience all do to Andrew's friendliness, helpfulness and knowledge. Truly a top tier employee.

They never respond to phone calls

Where is the store manager and what is he doing??!! The tire section doesn’t respond to phone calls to set up appointments, so I visited the store at 6:00 pm on Wednesday and they told me they left for the day and the customer service said we cannot do any thing, come tomorrow in the morning and see what will happen?! so disappointing

Flat repair requires an appointment.

I do not live close to a Sams Club. The first available appointment is 2 weeks out which makes the flat repair feature worthless to me. I used to be able to bring the tire in and get it repaired while shopping. i'll need to pay someone else for the repair.

Avoid

I bought 4 tires here and had installed and paid for free road hazard and lifetime rotate and balance. I called to have rotation in June and said Tire service not available due to covid 19. Now in late August still only one Sam's club has tire service open in Columbus Ohio metro area of 2.4 million people and it is not a store that is at all convenient to me. I can not get tires rotated where I bought them. Would not buy tires at Sam's club again. They are not standing behind their warranty

Fantastic package

I bought a new set of tires a year ago from Sam's Club and the installation package included a fairly comprehensive warranty, which I completely forgot about. Today I got a flat tire and was able to drop in to get it repaired. Didn't realize repairs were free for members! Alas, the tire was beyond repair and I was prepared to pay for another tire. Then they told me I was covered for a free tire and I would only need to pay the $20 installation fee. Needless to say, I was incredibly relieved and thankful for the great service. I was in and out in under an hour.

Decent tires poor service!

I worked with Sam's tire center in Vienna WV., over a 2 week period to order 4 tires and schedule the installation for a specific day that the kids were off school. I had the van checked in 3 hours before my appointment, which the Tech responded to by saying they would probably get it done early. Nope, instead I got a voicemail saying I had aftermarket airbags and they were not certified to replace tires on vehicles with airbags. After waiting on hold for 20 minuets and being transferred several times, a Tech finally answered the phone. Nope, they would not replace my tires, even if I let the air out of the “air bags”(rear air shocks for pulling our camper). I would have to pickup my van and reschedule. I called Goodyear, who was able to get me in within 30 minuets. When Sam's refunded the service fees for the work they didn't do, the Tech didn't complete the transaction properly, so now I have to go back to the club to pick up a gift card with my refund!

Poor communication about installation appointments

The only complaint I have with tire installation is the lack of communicating from my local club or Sam's in general to inform me I could have made an appointment and not wandered around the store for 4 hours waiting on the tires to be put on. That was not an option the last time I needed tires or if it was they never told me then either. Several opportunities to tell me this: 1.When I completed my online order. 2.When they emailed me to tell me my tires had been delivered to my local Sam's and ready for pickup. 3. When I showed up at the club and told the guy my tires had came in and I wanted to have them installed. Only when I picked up my keys after a 4 hour wait did the guy mention to me that they now do appointments for installation and rotation/balance etc. and that you are usually in and out in less than an hour. That should have been the first thing I was told when they confirmed my tires were there and ready for installation. But as far as the service on rotation etc. this Sam's location has always been top notch with my previous purchases on my wife's Outback
