The tire center is a joke!

Ordered tires with installation online, once the tires came in, I tried to make an appointment for installation and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. After 3 days of trying, I gave up and purchased tires elsewhere. Customer service couldn’t do anything for me, everyone passed the buck and no one took the effort to try to help me out. Supposedly there is only 1 employee in the tire center and he is the only one who can make appointments or cancel orders. So, I guess I will have this tire order on my account until my Sam’s Club membership expires - as I am so fed up with this process that I will not be renewing my membership. Do yourself a favor and buy tires elsewhere…the hassle isn’t worth the savings!

Waste of time

Ordered 2 tires online and waited several weeks for them to come in. At no time was anything mentioned about having to schedule an appointment for an install. Received an email stating tired were in and now I must schedule an install. I called the local store to do so and, as all calls are, it was transferred to El Salvador. Unfortunately I don't speak Spanish and this gentleman barely spoke English. After awhile I was finally scheduled for an appointment in about 3 weeks. My wife wanted to see if we could get them installed sooner so she called the local store, again El Salvador, except this woman dod not speak English. So we decided to go into the store. We were totally ignored. Employees just walked past us and would not respond. No choice but to wait. I go in at the scheduled time and an employee who just seemed miserable came to the counter. After q0 minutes of trying to find me in the system l, he tells me they probably won't just do two tires. He wants to look at the vehicle. Two front tires are perfectly fine with more than enough tread. He tells me that I have to order two more tires and go through the process again. Moral of story, shop local. This place has zero customer service. Totally ridiculous attitude.

horrible service

Had a 5 pm appointment came in around 4:30 to be sure I was not late. 6 pm rolls around and couldn't find anyone to ask the status of my vehicle. Had to go find a store manager who could care less about my issue. He goes and finds the guy that greeted me at 4:30 and he tells him he cant get one tire out since 4 PM, 2 guys working on one car for 2 hours! The store manager apologizes but acted as if he didn't care. I love shopping at this store but from now on I will try BG's had to end up leaving with ,y tire and now I have to spend another trip to another shop to get my tires installed. beware do not get your tires installed here!

Poor communication about installation appointments

The only complaint I have with tire installation is the lack of communicating from my local club or Sam's in general to inform me I could have made an appointment and not wandered around the store for 4 hours waiting on the tires to be put on. That was not an option the last time I needed tires or if it was they never told me then either. Several opportunities to tell me this: 1.When I completed my online order. 2.When they emailed me to tell me my tires had been delivered to my local Sam's and ready for pickup. 3. When I showed up at the club and told the guy my tires had came in and I wanted to have them installed. Only when I picked up my keys after a 4 hour wait did the guy mention to me that they now do appointments for installation and rotation/balance etc. and that you are usually in and out in less than an hour. That should have been the first thing I was told when they confirmed my tires were there and ready for installation. But as far as the service on rotation etc. this Sam's location has always been top notch with my previous purchases on my wife's Outback

Avoid this service

Save yourself time and frustration and don't order tires through them unless you have 3-4 weeks to wait to have them installed. They allow you to spend 1k on tires and you find this out after the fact. They're understaffed and don't operate during their listed hours. The manager was rude and couldn't care less of your situation. (Freehold, NJ location)

Refused to install TPMS

I purchased new tires with the premium tire installation package and the tire center refused to move the tire pressure monitoring sensors into the new tires. I have the factory Mopar TPMS on my truck which has less than 36K miles on it and are still covered under warranty, however the Sam's location told me that they would only install sensors that I purchased from them. Now there are error messages all over the dash because of their horrible service. Would never have purchased tires from them had I known.

Flat Repair

Bought 4 Goodyear tires. so about 5 months wanted a re-balance. Made an appointment was there early, was told it could be up to 3 hrs I left. Had a slow leak in one drove the vehicle there gave the keys went shopping 30mins or so, car still sitting outside. Waited for about another 30 mins. Got my keys and left. So i decided to take the tire off myself took it to the shop for a flat repair told them I will pick it up tomorrow. Came back after I got off work said the tire was repaired. Got it home only had 21 psi. Found the nail in it plugged it myself made a video of it leaking went back about a week later and showed them no response Store in OverlandPark Ks.

Lie

The after-sales service is horrible. I arrived in Port Charlotte, FL with a flat tire, and the person who assisted me was extremely rude. He said, "Sir, the wait is 7 hours. If you want, leave the car and come back at 5 pm," and it was only 9 am. Imagine being on a trip and encountering such an unpleasant person dealing with the public in such a disagreeable manner and without any understanding for the customer. The only thing that makes me think is that they do it on purpose to make people leave. The only thing they care about is selling tires; the after-sales service they offer is a sham. NOT RECOMMENDED.
