DISAPPOINTING!

I paid for installation of my front tires & balancing was not offered. I returned a week later to have the back tires installed. Balancing was not performed during this installation nor were my tires inflated to the factory specs for my car (35). Very disappointing considering this was supposed to be included tin my purchase.

Ten-year-old valve stems?

Comprehensive and a good value. Apparently, they only replace the valve stems if necessary. Mine weren't. Seems to me that at ten years, it's necessary. Free flat repairs are part of the package. Sure hope I don't have one due to aged-out valve stems.

Had to give up the car for 4 days!

I had to wait several days after Sams received the tires to get them installed. I could not drive the car because of a flat tire that could not be repaired. I was without a car for 4 days and the tire manager gave me no indication when they would be installed . Only after I spoke to a store manager at the Centerville, Ohio store did I get them installed. He told me they got rid of the previous tire manager because he was too accomodating to the customers. He said they were installing too many tires each month. The new tire manager put a limit on how many tires that they could install per day. It doesn't make any sense to me and the store manager directed that installation limit.

Tire Installation and buying tires

I had a tire that had over 50% tread that had a nail in outer edge. The tire package should have replaced the tire but since it was over 4 years old, it was denied. That is never explained when I bought the replacement matching Michelin tire. I did not see this in any paper work I was given. I just replaced the other 3 Michelin tires on that SUV. I used to just go to Sam's and pick out tires and have them installed. I will now be shopping around for tires. They were also supposed to call me on my cell when it was done since I was waiting up front in Sam's, but no call came. I go to check and everyone gone home without calling except for one employee. I had to wait another 15 minutes for him to get off the phone before he could put my paperwork together. It's also hard to get an appointment for rotations.

Stripped the Lug Nut

Our son recently moved to MD after college graduation for a new job. He needed new tires for his car and we gifted them to him. It has only been a few months and one of the tires were damaged. Basically a "chunk" of rubber was gouged out. Our son suspects that the kids playing in the apartment parking lot on their bikes are responsible. How the tire was damaged isn't the issue. It would be covered. The issue is that we had the tires replaced at the Sicklerville, NJ location and he took his car to the location nearest him which is the Severn, MD location. The Severn location declared that one of the lug nuts was stripped and they could not replace the tire. I want to be very clear. If a lug nut was stripped, it happened when the tires were installed in Sicklerville, NJ. The tires were only a few months old. The claim from the Severn store was "We have no way to be sure that another repair shop caused the damage" is lame. Why would he need to visit another repair shop (especially since the tires were under warranty) when the tires were only a few months old?? Our son took his car to Firestone, and they removed the lug nut with no issue. He purchased the a new lug nut and then returned to the store to have the new tire put on. His tire was replaced.... eventually, but only with a lot of back and forth, missed time at work and stress. I pay for a Plus Membership, and I expect better.

Chaotic Tire Installation Process

This is a chaotic service. Appointments have to be made with someone who barely speaks English and is located out of state (probably out of country) and makes mistakes because they don't seem to be well trained. I made an appointment and then later the same day changed the time to a couple of hours later. The appointment clerk made a new appointment for the later time, but kept the first appointment also so when I arrived they thought I was a no-show and had put the tires away and couldn't find them. They had other Pirelli tires in the garage, but I wasn't allowed 't enter to help find the right ones and the garage people found some other Pirelli tires they thought were mine, but weren't even the right size. Anyway, it was chaotic and appointments should be made by the local store not someone who has no idea what is going on. To pay for the tires they made me walk a quarter mile around the building to enter the front even though the garage and a side door outside entered directly to the tire counter. Not customer friendly!

I had an appointment at 1 PM. They didn’t get to my car until 40 minutes later and I asked if they checked my air pressure of all my tires because my tire light is on and the person who installed the tire said yes he did but he did not because I had to go back to the store because my tire light was still on after I went home and then went back to the store.

The lug nuts were finger-tightened and over inflated. I heard a noise driving to my daughter’s house. She and her husband were so upset at the thought of the accident that could have occurred. An attempt to speak to someone in management was pretty much impossible. My daughter was redirected all over the world., Getting nowhere.

I was initially told it would be “3 to 5 days“ for your tire to arrive. It’s now been two weeks since I ordered the tire and no one has Even given me a courtesy call to tell me the status on my tire. I had to call them to inquire, and their response was, “we will call you when it’s in…” Poor customer service.
