I had a tire that had over 50% tread that had a nail in outer edge. The tire package should have replaced the tire but since it was over 4 years old, it was denied. That is never explained when I bought the replacement matching Michelin tire. I did not see this in any paper work I was given. I just replaced the other 3 Michelin tires on that SUV. I used to just go to Sam's and pick out tires and have them installed. I will now be shopping around for tires. They were also supposed to call me on my cell when it was done since I was waiting up front in Sam's, but no call came. I go to check and everyone gone home without calling except for one employee. I had to wait another 15 minutes for him to get off the phone before he could put my paperwork together. It's also hard to get an appointment for rotations.

The Michelin tires are the best tires for my towing vehicle. They give me the best reliability and performance and traction of any tires. The tire package is the best offer available at any tire dealer. The Sam's Tire Center had them mounted and balanced in a very short amount of time. It is my opinion that Sam's Club is by far the best place to buy tires or anything else

Buy the tiers, Set an appointment, Meet the appointment, Have them changed out. Easy Peasy! Our third time buying tires from Sams. Grant, the tire manager, is a great guy to work with, and he has trained his crew to handle it when he is not there. NO SURPRISES.

It took several hours the first appointment to get my tires installed. I left and immediately noticed it shaking (balancing issue) they did an entire vehicle tires and balanced them when they started balancing mine after coming back. They finished that vehicle but still took an additional 40 mins to just balnace mine..It took way more time, time from work, to many trips and phone calls as this still happened on the way home after their 2nd attempt to balance. I called and just kept getting bring it back and finally they offered a refund on balancing but i turned it down. I told him i just wanted my car right and not to shake. 4 attempts to balnace and they finally got it. There was a guy there named buddy he was really regretful and took pride in making it right so for him more stars but overall it was way too frustrating than just using the dealership my car in a 2023 it doesnt take that amount to balnace a new set of tires.

Sam's Club membership is worth it just for purchasing tires. I always compare prices. But when buying four tires for our cars, we almost always save $100-$150 on the total purchase. While other tire centers will match the price of the tire itself, Sam's installation service includes all of the things that tire centers nickel and dime you for. They all cover installation and disposal, and some will do free rotations. But Sam's service includes road hazard coverage and roadside assistance to tow your car to Sam's for repair/replacement. Compared to my next lowest offer on similar tires, Sam's was $118.00 less for this package than all of the big name tire/repair chains.

Not the best service at the tire area. You have to wait about 10 minutes to get help. All 3 times I went there (to pay and make appointment, drop off and pick up) you have to wait on the team lead to come out of bay to assist you. The door to go outside is locked (understandable) so you have to wait for someone to come into store to assist you. I knocked on windows and waved my arms to try to get attention. Nope, you have to wait for them to come in. The team lead is just talking to them (maybe coaching). A lot of old men came and went due to no assistance.

The value is good, the service was terrible. They were not in stock so there was a five day delivery time shown. That was not a problem. I was told they would call when the tires were received so that a time could be set for installation. After nine days I went back to the store. The tires were there but I had not heard back. An appointment was made for two days later. I was told that they would be installed in about an hour. After an hour and ten minutes, I was told it would be another hour and a half before they would be finished. That was not acceptable. I was told that they would call me as soon as it was ready. I did not get a call, so I went back to the counter. After he finished the customer he was waiting on, he told me it was ready and he went to get the key. Why wasn’t I informed when it was ready instead of me having to go back?

Sam's claimed my vehicle was unsafe to lift. They said fix it and they would install tires.Took the vehicle to local VW dealer they said there were no issues lifting the vehicle (they lifted it twice in their shop). The VW dealer charged me 95.00 fee looking at vehicle. Even though I provided a statement from the dealer stating everything was good. Sam's thinks they know better than certified mechanics and still refused to install the tires. .

Sadly after the reviews and various online posts about this experience, I still get a survey asking about my experience. If this doesn’t illustrate my point I doubt anything will in the eyes of Sam’s Club leadership. I bought my tires in store on 11/26. I indicated the size needed (265/65r18) and pointed out the stack of them available on the store floor. The salesman acknowledged this. I waited almost 3 weeks for my install appt to find the salesrep ordered tires in the wrong size (265/70r17) and the tires I originally pointed out had been sold in the interim. Upon this discovery another sales rep indicated I would have to wait til 12/24 or an additional 10 days to fix their screwup. I declined this offer and have since filed complaints on various review sites and Facebook posts with little interest shown from Sam’s aside from insincere apologies and wanting a side chat on Messenger while no efforts were made in store or via email to make it right. The very fact this email is asking about my installation when it should be clear to all involved that there wasn’t one to begin with is amusing. No calls from a manager, just more of this type of incompetence, in case there was any doubt who I was dealing with. I imagine the “It’s busy and we haven’t had the opportunity to address this yet” variety of excuse could be bought forth, meanwhile the store manager is posting videos on Facebook playing with a toy Ferris wheel in store.

Not happy with the way everything went down. I went in on a Monday and ordered my tires, made an appointment for that Friday. Got a call on Friday that someone had sold my tires to someone else. They reordered them and said that they would call me for an appointment. I went in the Sunday a week later and they said that I was scheduled the Wednesday before. Would have been nice to get a phone call telling me this. Made appointment and when I got there they told me I had to pay for my tires again!!!! Finally at the end they refunded the second payment for the tires before I left. What a disaster
