Bought tires in store, and installed in less than an hour. So very much appreciate the folks in the Tire Center. Always get the work done in a timely fashion. Appreciate the cost savings thru the "free rotation" service which saves a lot of money these days over the life of the tires.

Looking for a resolution

The tires were installed 2 weeks ago and I still have TPMS sensors flashing. I took it back and they didn't have anyone that could help me when i was there. I hope to have it resolved soon but it'll require more trips there because unfortunately, when you call they tranfer to some call center for Sam's?

Sam's club had hard time to schedule tire install. I had hard time to schedule 3 times and first time wrong tire was requested. Then to schedule took longer and then tire was not in correct inflation level set to 42 in 3 times, i had make several trips and final trip to cancel one charge, tire install should be simpler!

Sam’s Club No Ka Oi!

Sam’s Club employees r always so very helpful, and knowledgeable! I needed to have all 4 tire sensors replaced, all tires rotated, one tire replaced, and battery checked. I actually went there to have them check my tire sensors for my tire light was on and the air pressures were all good, to inquire about getting a tire replacement since I just purchased all 4 about 8 months ago, wanted a to also do tire rotations and check my battery. Chris at the Keeaumoku location was a little gruff in the beginning, but softened up after explaining to him my problems. He ended up being very nice and sweet! Thanks Chris for helping me with all the things I needed to have done, u r appreciated along with the rest of the crew! I was able to accomplish all that before getting back to work from my vacay! Sam’s Club to me is very good!

We ordered the tires, they arrived and were notified, made an appointment to have them installed, went to the store and were immediately greeted by very friendly person and did all of the paper work, when the tires were on the Hummer we were given the keys and thanked, very professional, would highly recommend them again.

The value is good, the service was terrible. They were not in stock so there was a five day delivery time shown. That was not a problem. I was told they would call when the tires were received so that a time could be set for installation. After nine days I went back to the store. The tires were there but I had not heard back. An appointment was made for two days later. I was told that they would be installed in about an hour. After an hour and ten minutes, I was told it would be another hour and a half before they would be finished. That was not acceptable. I was told that they would call me as soon as it was ready. I did not get a call, so I went back to the counter. After he finished the customer he was waiting on, he told me it was ready and he went to get the key. Why wasn’t I informed when it was ready instead of me having to go back?

Tire Installation Experience

Before ordering tires, I asked how long installation would take and was told 1-2 hours. Upon my scheduled arrival time, had to wait about 10 minutes to get someone from tire department to come out. Was not greeted and was told it would be an all day affair as they get interrupted constantly. I responded I had to wait and would never have scheduled with them if this was the case. It took over 30 minutes before they even pulled the tires. I watched technician from window who struggled with removing existing tire(s) from rim. When finally done 2 1/2 hours later when I got home I notice one of my rims had huge gouge in it! Not good. I could go on about what I witnessed but won’t as it probably wouldn’t matter…

Stripped the Lug Nut

Our son recently moved to MD after college graduation for a new job. He needed new tires for his car and we gifted them to him. It has only been a few months and one of the tires were damaged. Basically a "chunk" of rubber was gouged out. Our son suspects that the kids playing in the apartment parking lot on their bikes are responsible. How the tire was damaged isn't the issue. It would be covered. The issue is that we had the tires replaced at the Sicklerville, NJ location and he took his car to the location nearest him which is the Severn, MD location. The Severn location declared that one of the lug nuts was stripped and they could not replace the tire. I want to be very clear. If a lug nut was stripped, it happened when the tires were installed in Sicklerville, NJ. The tires were only a few months old. The claim from the Severn store was "We have no way to be sure that another repair shop caused the damage" is lame. Why would he need to visit another repair shop (especially since the tires were under warranty) when the tires were only a few months old?? Our son took his car to Firestone, and they removed the lug nut with no issue. He purchased the a new lug nut and then returned to the store to have the new tire put on. His tire was replaced.... eventually, but only with a lot of back and forth, missed time at work and stress. I pay for a Plus Membership, and I expect better.

Let’s start by saying that we had a tire installation appointment at 1400 hrs. that had been scheduled for more than three weeks. We arrived 20 minutes ahead and waited for 20 minutes before anyone came to the service counter. The person was very attentive and got our service in place by 1415. And then, we waited. And waited. And waited. It was 1745 when a service person came out with our paperwork. Nearly four hours for not more than 90 minutes’ worth of service. He was apologetic for the delay, but said there were only two people changing tires. The individual who did our tires did a great job. We could feel the difference You, the Sam’s Club Management is guilty. The club had two personnel changing tires, another helping sporadically, and another one taking care of the walk-ins with battery issues or other that are handled in that section. We have been members since 1991and we have not ever seen the level of incompetent management we experienced Monday. Sitting waiting at one of the dining tables next to the car tire counter, we had time to discuss our Sam’s experiences during the last 30 odd years and this is not our old Sam’s Club.

What a sad excuse for customer service.

I am not able to review the tires because I do not actually have them yet. I’m sitting in the Sam’s Club cafe waiting for installation. Ordered 2 weeks ago. Promised a call upon delivery to store. No call. Today I’m told “We don’t call anybody. We email you.” Sadly, no email either — though I have received 6 emails from Sam’s Club asking me to rate my experience. Clearly those emails got through, but absolutely no notice letting me know the tires I’ve been waiting for were delivered and sitting in the rack.
