Purchase Not Easy

Purchased 1st at Tucker store. Scheduled for install. Arrived to appointment and they didn't have the tires. Back to store to reverse the purchase and went to the Snellville store. Didn't see purchase in History so called and was transferred 5 times for CS to Credit Card Dept to Tire Dept back to CS to Tire dept back to Credit. Finally got a phone number and was able to resolve.

Looking for a resolution

The tires were installed 2 weeks ago and I still have TPMS sensors flashing. I took it back and they didn't have anyone that could help me when i was there. I hope to have it resolved soon but it'll require more trips there because unfortunately, when you call they tranfer to some call center for Sam's?

Phenomenal Customer Service

The installation was quick and efficient, but more importantly the customer service went beyond expectations. I asked to have my old tires placed into the back of my Sportage so I could use them at home and much to my surprise, the technician took the time to wash each tire. Who does that? I cannot tell you how much it meant that he would go above and beyond in this manner.

Long wait but job completed

I’ve never had a scheduled appoint for a tire install take so long. Scheduled appointment was a month out then to get to my appt in the morning and being told they are running behind. Was offered to reschedule but after already waiting a month, I could not. Waited for the job to be done and it was about 3.5-4 hours! The job was done appropriately but it took forever.

Couldn't get Tires!

Not at all happy. Sam's at Centerville wrote up our order and set a date for installation. When my husband called to confirm the date/time, he was told they could not get the tires but no one called to let us know. Then they told us we had to come to the Centerville store (30 miles away) to get a refund on our Sam's card. We went to Sam's on Miller Lane and they handled the refund! Poor service from Sam's at Centerville. We ended up going to another establishment to get our tires and installation.

They are a good price for quality but shouldn't being charge to install them I came in November 6,2024 and the tires where there the next day and didn't get any notice had to call on my on after 2 weeks later and they said they don't call you anymore so exactly how do you find out.

Horrible Experience

Ordered tires online. Tires arrived at shop five days later. Called to make an installation appointment, and was told earliest appointment was 10 days off. Booked first available at 10:00 am on a Friday. Arrived five minutes early. Approximately 70 minutes later, received phone call stating technician could not remove the lug nuts. Only able to remove four lugs out of twenty (five per wheel). Only option given to me was to take car myself to another tire shop or local mechanic to have lug nuts loosened. Flabbergasted, I drove 20 minutes to my regular, local mechanic. He removed 16 lugs easily, and had to use breaker bar on four of them, but still got those four off within 30 seconds. Drove back to Sams club and told them they've all been taken off and reinstalled to factory torque. An hour and twenty minutes later, got another call that technician still could not remove four different lugs. On site manager offered no reason why they couldn't remove lugs that had just been taken off less than two hours previously. He tried himself in front of me with breaker bar, but no use. Back to my local mechanic, who then informed me those four lugs were now "stripped." Took him 15-20 minutes to get them off, then I had to wait as he ordered four replacement lug nuts and has not cost me $100 in labor. Back to Sam's Club. Now 3:15 pm. Tech had another car in bay, so I had to wait behind that vehicle. Manager was now gone for the day. Technician finally finished my car at 6:05 pm. Over 8 hours waiting around to install four tires. No apologies, no response from manager who left early. Just horrible service. Will not ever have tires installed at Sam's Club again.

Don’t be late

Don’t be late for your tire appointment. I was 20 minutes late for my 8am appointment and I was punished for that. Didn’t leave the store till 1pm with my new tires. I accepted fault for that, I purchased my tires 2 weeks earlier and wasn’t 100% sure of my appointment time. However, the technicians were polite and did a good job on the installation. I tried to call and confirm earlier that morning. Sam’s uses a call center located in another country. The phones were supposed to be turned on at 7am, they weren’t on and available till 8am. The recording says you are being transferred to the call center because of high call volume. This is not true. It was early and the store was not yet busy. This is just how business is done now with most big corporations, get used to it. If you want to talk to a tire technician go to the store in person. I’ve bought many tires and batteries from Sam’s and I’ll continue to do so. All in all my experiences have been satisfactory.

Worst installation ever

This was the worst installation I have ever had at Sam's club. The technician installing the tires claimed he could not remove the lug nuts on one tire, the other three he could remove with no problem. This was supposed to be an appointment but I had to wait an additional 45 minutes before he could install those three, then take my fourth tire to another company to get installed. Which by the way they had no problem removing the lug nuts from the supposed problem tire. No refund was offered by for anything, I asked he told me it would cost more because you only get the discount if you purchase 4 installation not 3. That made no sense but I needed my car. They did not clean the tires at all, they were dirty and dusty. They acted like I had done something to them. Very poor customer service.

Pressure sensor failure since new tires installed

My tire pressure sensor has been failing occasionally since I had these tires installed, but every time I head back to the store to get the problem checked, it corrects itself until it does it again. Happens nearly every day at some time. Never had the problem before.
