Microwave is ok but you have all this liquid and doesn’t look too pleasing. I find it best to cook it in a frying pan. Kinda like when you’re cooking ground beef, you fry it till liquid is dissolved, no need to drain. For the carnitas you cover the pan so it can heat and steam. When liquid is almost gone then you uncover and let it fry in its own fat and you get this nice crispy crust to it. Very easy and tasty.

We love these things, and hope they become a permanent product instead of seasonal. This is enough for four people, or in our case, we cut it in half and each half is a meal for us. They're pre-cooked, and require only a couple of minutes in a covered frying pan to fully heat up. (The cover is for the generated steam, which greatly speeds the heating process.)

We prepared three containers of these Pork Carnitas for a small dinner party of 18. We used the slow cooker to heat the meat and keep it warm -- FAST, EASY TO PREPARE, AND SO TASTY!!!!! Definitely a hit with all of our guests. And, we had plenty for leftovers at our house and even to share with our guests.

Great for a quick weeknight dinner! This has good flavor for pork tacos. Just heat up in a skillet and add additional flavor with a little water, if you want (we do sometimes to make it more bold) - some sliced cabbage, lime crema, and salsa, and you've got a quick, hardy meal everyone eats! (Can dry out while heating up, so add a little water). For the time I save from prep and waiting on a slow cooker, I always keep one of these in the freezer for a quick meal.

This is one of my families favorite meals. Fully cooked and vacuum sealed - just heat, shred and serve. Great item to stock in your freezer for when you need a quick meal. Full of amazing flavor and best served on tortillas with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.

Too much fat and can't stand the taste! Would not purchase again!

The flavors are weird. I've had better pre made carnitas. I would not buy again.

The meat was good. The taste was OK but needed more flavor. Not a repeat buy for me.
