There is a quick wash setting for when you need to wash a few things or more quickly and effortlessly! This washer is easy to operate and has flat controls that are easily wiped down! It is quiet and efficient! There is a "Acfive Wave" agitator with a fabric softener dispenser you can easily pour your fabric softener into! Takes the guess work out of the process and dispenses perfectly at the right time. In the front just under the lid there is a place to add bleach so that it dilutes and adds it to the wash perfectly without splashing undiluted bleach directly into your clothing! There is a self locking lid that can be paused in case you forget to add something to the wash. It's a simple pause/start button. The digital display cones to life instantly when you press the power button. I love the large tub and the extra large water capacity for washing bulky bedding. There's even a bedding/waterproof cycle! Samsung has thought of everything in this user friendly washer! I have been talking about this washer to friends, family, and co-workers since I started using it! I am super impressed with this new state of the art washer and the fact it is so simple to operate! Absolutely happy with my purchase, thank you Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung washer looks very classic . The features are what gives this washer the amazing stars. From the huge barrel where I can fit double the amount I could fit into my older model. To the different cycles of normal to quick wash and heavy. It will do the right job for any type of stains and odors. My favorite feature as a parent of a toddler is the child lock. This allows me to have peace of mind that my toddler will not try to put extra stuff in like his markers :/ The soft close lid will not startle anyone off their seats . And the twist (pun intended) is the super quite agitator. Even from close range is very gentle but effective. It swishes like a river flowing through mountains (visualize that). Bonus: the super cute melody when the cycle is over makes me wanna hug my washer.

I bought this machine in 2021, less than 2 years old. The machine is very load now and sounds like a jet taking off. This is reportedly due to faulty tub bearings. Common issue with Samsung washers based on Samsung website, service people and appliance websites. The cost of repair is more than cost of new washer. Very disappointing. Better quality available from other manufacturers at same price point.

This washer does a good job cleaning. We have run many loads of military uniforms and kids clothes through it and it cleans well. I struggled with giving this even 4 start though due to a feature that I HATE. At the end of the cycle this unit plays a "tune" for almost 30 seconds. This model has no option to turn the tones off or even to lower their volume. The best time to do chores such as laundry while kids are sleeping. Good luck not waking them up. The washer is in a central part of the house and it is loud and annoying.

i love, love, love my samsung washing machine model wa40a3005aw/a4 i sought out a machine that had all water level choices. this machine is by far the best machine i have ever had and i can make my own water level choice. i would absolutely recommend this machine as the only choice for a new purchase. it is a smarter, more predictable machine. it reminds me of the older, common sense, reliable machines when i was young, that were work horses... they just kept going and going and going!! i'm so excited to have a machine that performs like a work horse. read through the manual to find out all your choices and everything you want to know about the machine. i named it sung (victorious) and my husband or the dogs, let me know when they hear sung sing at the end of every load...

I have had mine for about 3 years it was great until my washes become off balance ALL THE TIME and it takes hours to do 1 load. I know I am not over or under filling the tub. Sometimes I think it just fills and empties continuously. Junk I am so disappointed

Love the design and the fact that when you open the lid it would not come down on you like other washers. The preloaded settings allows you to wash your clothes with confidence by rotating the load selector it will adjust water temp and amount of spinning needed. Washing my first set of clothes was able to tell the difference as the agitator left clothes clean and removed all debris. The drain pipe is about 5/8 pipe compare to other washers at 1/2 drain pipe. Really love the way the washer performs I would recommend this washer as a phenomenal entry level washer like always Samsung has put good reaserch and development in there products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is just amazing! There are so many things I love about it! First the selection for wash settings is awesome. Then you get your choice of water levels. There is also an option for water temperature. I really enjoy how I can pause it if I've forgotten to put something in. And let's talk about the drum size. It is big enough that I can wash my king size comforter with no issues. Then there is the self clean cycle. I love having a clean washer after every cycle. Finally there are the tunes that play when starting a load and when the load is finished. I almost forgot to mention how the washer isn't oversized either!

From day one we had issues with this washer. And the tech guy never fixes this issue. We had it for three years. All the light will blink and our load will lock right before the water drains. Tech guy they have come out he YouTube’s the problem and has yet actually fix it. Has already replace several things and still does Thai.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these newer top load washers need to be more specific on who can use these comfortably- I will not recommend this washer to anyone under 5'-4" tall. Even after standing on a step my husband built, I still have trouble reaching the clothes on the bottom. I now must use an extension grabber to remove clothes from this washer! The control panel is easy to understand and operate, it has 4 water levels and one automatic level. The noise level is nice and low, and it spins nearly all the water out of clothes making drying time less. I can tell it spins hard because my fabric softener sprays up on the bottom of the lid, it may be hard to see but I have shared a picture. The fabric softener dispenser is old school and expels the liquid using centrifugal force vs a water rinsed tray that comes with other models. Some of the liquid remains and this cup will need to be cleaned often. This model also has no liquid detergent dispenser so you just pout the laundry detergent right on top of the clothes. While I appreciate the child lock feather, it would be nice to be able to manually override it, for some simple pre-washing while the drum is filling. I know this was a feature on one of the models and I thought that was one I had ordered. This is a great get-it-done, no frills washer and I think would be great for large loads of dirty work clothes. I think this washer will be easier to keep cleaner than my old front load with that big gasket that was a mess to keep clean.
