There are directions in the manual for cleaning the detergent drawer. These directions are not accurate. No matter what we do, we cannot remove the dispenser drawer from the washer. It is always coated in mold/mildew, especially on the fabric softener side, which is always half full of water. (The manual actually says it is normal for the tray to have water in it after a load. Yuck! I have a basting tool from the kitchen that I have to use to clean the water out of the tray before and after every load.) If it was just a basic tray, we might be able to clean it while it's still attached to the washer, but there are little parts to it that you can't separate and get clean. We've followed the directions in the manual, in YouTube videos, in Google searches, and nothing works. Also, we've had the issue that other reviewers have mentioned -- the unbalanced load. The washer doesn't really tell you the load is unbalanced. It just keeps repeating the rinse cycle indefinitely. You could go through sooooo much water if you start the washer and leave home. So you have to stay home and babysit your laundry. The only way to get through it is to force the washer to stop and then rearrange the very heavy, wet contents, until it finally decides it will go to the spin cycle. Terrible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washing machine works extremely well and looks nice. The top is clear glass and the deep barrel is quite large. It has every setting you can imagine and I love that as you choose which setting, it changes the timer so that you know exactly how long the load will take to wash. To add detergent, there is a convenient pull out tray that shows you exactly how much liquid to put in and also has a space for liquid fabric softener. Once you start the washer, the lid locks and if you need to pause for whatever reason, there is a convenient button for that. It is very quiet when washing and I can barely notice when it is on. After the load is done being washed, a jingle will play to notify you that it is complete. My clothes are washed perfectly and the washer itself holds a very large amount of laundry. After a few times of use, the washer will also conveniently notify you to do a washer cleaning cycle with a simple press of a button. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

My biggest test was a very thick sherpa king sized blanket. I folded as stated in the instruction manual and was skeptical but the cycle completed without a problem (balance or weight issue, not cleansing the blanket entirely due to bring too big/heavy/thick) and the blanket was clean and smelled fresh. This washer took care of it! We were so relieved and pleased. I wish we could change the setting manually from rinse to spin. If i want to clear some left over dirt in the washer from washing any animals blankets for their outdoor lounge beds I have to let an actual rinse/spin cycle run. Instead of just having it drop some water in the washer tub and then set it to spin/drain. Definitely no big deal!

I decided to invest in a high quality washing machine because my previous washer was leaving greasy stains and ruining all my clothing. I decided to buy this washing machine because Samsung is a brand I highly trust. I have Previously purchased many Samsung appliances and have never been disappointed. Installation was quick and easy and it fit perfectly to replace my dated machine. I love this washing machine because it’s quiet and very effective in cleaning my clothes. I love the agitator, it’s strong and durable, yet gentle on even the most delicate clothes I own: It does a great job in getting heavily soiled clothes clean. This machine is technically superior in the way it spins using high speeds. It’s so fun to watch from the clear top lid. The machine in general is so easy to utilize. It’s very user friendly as the Digital options are easy to navigate and choose. My elderly parents were able to use it to without issue and were used to using washing machines with only dial options, not digital. Overall, I am highly impressed with this machine. It’s superior and high quality. I’m so pleased and excited to use it for years to come.

I really wanted to go back to a top load, just for personal preference and this ended up being the perfect one for my family. It is nice and big and fits very large loads which makes me quite happy. It cleans very well and our clothes smell fresh. There are plenty of different settings to use based on your load / preference. I love the glass top also. Not only does it allow you to see inside, but it also adds a touch of elegance to the look Lastly, the detergent/softener dispensers are conveniently located at the back of the top of the inside. Overall, great purchase and I would highly recommend.

Lasted three years and then the springs gave out and we learned it would cost as much to replace them as to get a new washer. We now have a made-in-USA Speed Queen, which was more expensive but has the old-school washer drum without the springs and a decent 5-year warranty as opposed to most these days with the 1-year.

save your self the trouble of blowing cash on a washer that only lasts 14 months, and an all state protection plan who reroutes you to square trade overseas 3rd party bot assistance, and 3 weeks of headaches, virtual diagnosis bots, whom deliver wrong parts, terrible repair companies with an inability to hold an appointment, to finally show up say the transmission is shot, after 14 months!!! to them be prorated a refund, as the exact same washer, as the warranty implies it will replace, sams club has the exact washer in stock, and the warranty company can't replace it, they then say they'll send you a prorated refund for the item. sams club also doesn't tell you, you're responsible to register the warranty if they fail to. they also say they'll refund you laundry fees, nope, not if its coin operated laundry, and you can't get a receipt from from the machine its self or use a card. its coin operated laundry!!! the only resolve after sending the same receipt, including the square trade and the washer on said recipt, the original receipt, sent via jpeg, pdf, and peg, they state they cant read it!! 3 weeks, 3 weeks its taken to get absolutely no where, other than $200 in additional laundry fees, 9 hours of time at a laundromat, and nearly 13 hours of bot chat messages, auto attendant, 3 hours on hold to get through to foreign call center attendants who have zero ability other than to say I'm sorry, or I apologize for the inconvenience, that they cant offer any assistance, that there isn't anything they can do, other than escalate to another ficticious department that has zero ability to be transfered to, and to wait 1 business day and an email will be sent, emails don't arrive, zero correspondence, to then play the game of again lets call to be told the exact same thing and an auto bot that offers zero help. worst decision ever. 3 weeks and zero help, zero answers, and zero assistance. though a box of parts that was sent and left that have zero value at all. beyond frustrated. its a scam.
