I have had this washer for about five years. It is the biggest piece of junk that I have ever dealt with. It constantly has the load out of balance so it errors out. I tried to wash three small blanket tonight and never got them balanced enough to spin. I think there is a defect in the design that causes it to stay out of balance. I may get one load out of four that actually goes through the entire wash cycle without my rearranging the load. I recommend anyone wanting to buy a new washer to run from this model. I have also gotten no real help with service. They just read off a script and try to send a team out to work on it. The next person who comes out to look at this washer will be the one to haul it to the junk and bid it goodbye. I absolutely hate this machine!

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a washing machine. It's always off balance.🙄 It sounds like its going jump out the laundry room . We are so miserable. Please be ware!! Don't waste your money on this washing machine. I wouldn't even want it if it was free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a good washer for us for the first few years (purchased July 14, 2021; today is June 26, 2025). It was quiet and did a good job cleaning. However, for the past several months, possibly a full year now, it has gotten unbalanced on almost every load, usually multiple times per load, loudly banging the drum against the inside of the shell before stopping the cycle and causing us to have to shift and reposition the laundry to redistribute the weight over and over. This means it can take 2-3 hours to get through a load that used to run for 1 hour. Forums indicate this is a common problem with no permanent solution. A repairman told us it sounded like an issue with the suspension rods, and if they needed to be replaced, it would cost about half of what we paid for the washer itself. He recommended running the self clean more often and using "washing machine cleaner" with it in order to remove sediment that can build up and put strain on the suspension rods. We've been doing this for close to 2 months now, but so far, it hasn't made any noticeable difference. Well, it does cause a bunch of gunk to come back up into the drum and stick to it which then has to be cleaned out by hand, but it hasn't helped with the unbalancing. In short: Good for the first 3 years, maddening after that.

This washer is only 14 months old I did not purchase the extended warranty and Samsung wouldn't fixed the problem which had two problems first problem would not ring out the water. The other problem was very unbalanced when it's been I would not purchase another Samsung. Everybody need to know about it very satisfied very. this is a fairly new washing machine. It shouldn't happen want me to pay $120 for labor $130 per travel. The watch itself only cost $450 in water on the last 30 days

Unfortunately, the washer I had for 15+ years stopped working two years ago and it was time for a new one. I purchased this one from Home Depot and if I could go back in time, I would not purchase this washer. I’ve only had it for 2 years now and a technician is coming for a third time to repair it. When this machine works, it’s great. However, once a year it conks out - it won’t spin and complete a cycle, leaving me with soaking wet clothes. The water will take 30 minutes to fill up before washing and it often “goes off balance”. All things I never experienced with my prior washer. This machine has been a complete headache and I DO NOT recommend this machine. I’m already looking for a new machine because my warranty ends next year and I’m sure I will continue to have problems even after that with this machine. Not worth the headache. Purchase any other brand!!

I’ve never been more obsessed with a washer in my life. Don’t walk ; Run I tell you run to go and get you one just like it!!

I didn’t pick this washer out it was part of the package when I bought my home 18 months ago. The washer is continuously off balance with a Ub error code. We rebalance the clothes and it takes 3-5 cycles for the washer to finish a load (this is hours of time wasted and gallons of water wasted). I have according to manufacturer suggestions and YouTube etc researched it thinking I was overloading the machine but I haven’t. It goes off balance regardless of load size. Now we found out it’s most likely suspension rod issues. So we have to either pay over $500 to have it repaired or do this ourselves (still costing approximately $320 for rods (cheaper ones are on Amazon but our repair man suggested only using factory parts because they last longer. Either way the washer is valued at $545 at my local lowes. So it looks like a engineering flaw is going to be a regular $300 maintenance repair issue until I buy a new washer (not going to be this one for sure)

Easy and simple washer that does a great job. You will love this machine because it cleans well.

I bought two of these units and they have the the same problem. During the spin cycle the machine becomes unbalanced and makes a loud banging. I called Samsung and they said only 1 year warranty, not 2 years as it states on the Sam’s club website. Terrible product and terrible experience trying to get the manufacturer to repair the unit under the warranty.
