I didn’t pick this washer out it was part of the package when I bought my home 18 months ago. The washer is continuously off balance with a Ub error code. We rebalance the clothes and it takes 3-5 cycles for the washer to finish a load (this is hours of time wasted and gallons of water wasted). I have according to manufacturer suggestions and YouTube etc researched it thinking I was overloading the machine but I haven’t. It goes off balance regardless of load size. Now we found out it’s most likely suspension rod issues. So we have to either pay over $500 to have it repaired or do this ourselves (still costing approximately $320 for rods (cheaper ones are on Amazon but our repair man suggested only using factory parts because they last longer. Either way the washer is valued at $545 at my local lowes. So it looks like a engineering flaw is going to be a regular $300 maintenance repair issue until I buy a new washer (not going to be this one for sure)

We've always had front load machines and they worked ok but there's a noticeable difference with this top load machine from Samsung. The inside space is huge while still keeping the average size washer frame. I know there's options for other machines that have some more wash options and additional controls but this ones perfect for us. The control panel is easy to understand and there's plenty of options for us to get our clothes perfectly clean. With 8 cycles to choose from we haven't had a chance to use them all just yet. For smaller loads we love the quick wash option, gets them done quickly with a small amount of water and the spin cycle gets a good amount of water out and makes things easier for my dryer. We usually use the normal setting at cold temps or eco warm when needed and haven't had an issue with cleanliness or odor at all. This is such welcome news for us in our house and will hopefully extend the life of our clothing as well. We wanted to give the washer a chance before getting the dryer but we're so impressed with this machine that we're now shopping for the matching dryer. We actually look forward to doing laundry now!

We had recently started to experience issues with our old washer and dryer, and Samsung was one of the brands we were researching, so we were thrilled to get this new set by Samsung. The entire process screamed efficiency! The delivery process was quick and painless. Two nice gentlemen arrived within the scheduled delivery window wearing proper protection. They came in, took a peek at the location with the old set, and prepared to execute. The entire process to remove my old set and install the new set took about 25 minutes with a tight turn and stairwell. After the install and allow the break-in cycle to complete, we started doing our weekly laundry. We were concerned about the machines' size as they had a smaller footprint than our older set. I'm here to tell you that the washer hides it's 4.5 CU FT well!! The capacity was ample for our needs, and the unit had a generous selection of cycles for our clothes. The machine is quiet, and we were greeted with a nice jingle that ALMOST made me happy about doing laundry . The buttons on both units make them easy to use, but I will say that you must read the manuals to understand all the features and button combos truly. We're happy about our purchase and look forward to years of clean laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It gets the job done, but with several annoyances. You cant turn the alarm off, so it will always chime (and for way too long) at the end of cycle. It always starts up on warm water instead of the one you last used so you have to push the temp button several times until it gets to cold. The highest water level setting only fills up slightly more than half way, but so far it does clean the clothes just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung 4.4 cu. ft top load washer with active wave agitator really cleans your clothes. The only thing that was funny was that my wife is short and she can't reach all the way in to get the clothes that are washed, she has to use a stool. We love this washer, it chimes when done washing. Has many options on it and self cleans when put on the proper cycle. It lets you know when it's recommended to do a clean. So be sure you have a hot water hook up, cause it will not work for those who don't ,to only do the cleaning cycle. It holds a large amount of clothes , so we are able to get our laundry done quicker. The count down timer is awesome, cause I can plan to do something and come back in time to put it in the dryer when done.

Just received my washer & just to try I washed 2 medium sized towels on Quick wash which turned out to be an hour. Did full loads in my old washer in about the same time. Also there is no option to do a warm wash & cold rinse. I'll revisit this after I do a full load but I'm hoping it isn't a 3 hour event. Also hoping the spin cycle does a better job.

seems to be a very good machine. i’m sure it will not last like the 30 year old washer it replaced. i like that it determines the amount of water to use and that it doesn't have an agitator taking up room inside. the installers left much to be desired. they did not use the drain hose guide, nor did they suggest removing the drain pan underneath so the washer could have more room behind the machine. the hoses are coiled up behind the machine, which i don't think is correct, and they simply zip-tied the drain hose to the water hose. they also messed up one of the doors of the closet the machine is installed in and now the doors will not close. they seemed more interested in getting done instead of spending time to make sure my washer was installed properly.

I have been using this wash machine for several months now and I have to say it's a huge upgrade from my previous machine of 20 yrs, things have certainly changed. First of all, it's beautiful and has a huge capacity so you can wash blankets and bedspreads. It is very simple and straightforward to use and has several cycles and water temperatures to pick from. The washer runs very quiet and cleans very well, it even has a cute little jingle at the end when its finished. Would highly recommend this wash machine and would love to buy a Samsung dryer to go with it.

Top Load Washer with Vibration Reduction Technology! It is the best! It is so much fun to use! My clothes get really clean! I am 5 feet and have to stand on my tip toes to reach the bottom. My clothes come out damp and that help my dryer run less time. One of my favorite parts about this washer is the cycle choices. There are cycles for every item I wash and it is very easy to set for each load.
