There are directions in the manual for cleaning the detergent drawer. These directions are not accurate. No matter what we do, we cannot remove the dispenser drawer from the washer. It is always coated in mold/mildew, especially on the fabric softener side, which is always half full of water. (The manual actually says it is normal for the tray to have water in it after a load. Yuck! I have a basting tool from the kitchen that I have to use to clean the water out of the tray before and after every load.) If it was just a basic tray, we might be able to clean it while it's still attached to the washer, but there are little parts to it that you can't separate and get clean. We've followed the directions in the manual, in YouTube videos, in Google searches, and nothing works. Also, we've had the issue that other reviewers have mentioned -- the unbalanced load. The washer doesn't really tell you the load is unbalanced. It just keeps repeating the rinse cycle indefinitely. You could go through sooooo much water if you start the washer and leave home. So you have to stay home and babysit your laundry. The only way to get through it is to force the washer to stop and then rearrange the very heavy, wet contents, until it finally decides it will go to the spin cycle. Terrible!

seems to be a very good machine. i’m sure it will not last like the 30 year old washer it replaced. i like that it determines the amount of water to use and that it doesn't have an agitator taking up room inside. the installers left much to be desired. they did not use the drain hose guide, nor did they suggest removing the drain pan underneath so the washer could have more room behind the machine. the hoses are coiled up behind the machine, which i don't think is correct, and they simply zip-tied the drain hose to the water hose. they also messed up one of the doors of the closet the machine is installed in and now the doors will not close. they seemed more interested in getting done instead of spending time to make sure my washer was installed properly.

The warranty is terrible & they do not stand behind their products. As a large family who does laundry frequently we need a washer that we can relay on.

It's very quiet while running and the tune it plays when done is a nice touch. My clothes even seem to come out dryer than they did with my old machine. I would definitely recommend this machine.

It has been the most fun I have had doing the dreaded chore of laundry. My entire family gets excited when it sings a lovely little melody when it is completed. By having an updated washing machine I finally can wash my California king size bedding and actually feel that it is sufficiently clean. I adore not having the agitator in the middle of the washing tub. It was so nice to step into the future with this dream Samsung washer. My old washer and dryer we're going on approximately 8 years old and we're truly old school. it's so nice to be able just to click a button and pick exactly what my laundry needs. I gave 4 stars because I kinda miss the soak option that my old washer had. From what I have found you can not soak your laundry with this washer. I would for sure recommend this washer to anyone who is looking for a reliable stylish product. Happy laundry washing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Problem from the start. Doesn't rince on normal cycle. Also don't put out any code for a problem but it had more than one issue. Always went to rince and spin when powered on, never did high spin cycle. Repair guy put in a new board which fixed other issues but still don't rince on normal cycle unless you use the extra rince and then does two complete rince cycles that takes forever and waste water. I'm not impressed. Took a week just to get an appointment for repair and no response yet when I told him still not working. I didn't pay that much to babysit a new one, could have done that with my old one 🤬

I previously had a whirlpool washer that would shake the entire house when larger items were being loaded. However, this Samsung Set is probably the quietest set that I’ve experienced. We are a family of 6, needless to say, that I do a ton of laundry on a weekly basis. Samsung is perfect for this because it fits SO much stuff which has reduced the amount of laundry I do in a week! I like that it is user friendly and straight to the point. It has many options from “water level” to “temp” and even soil level. I also like that it has the option for delicate and bedding. The washer is large enough for a Queen comforter. Our whirlpool washer could not fit this size comforter. Aesthetically it is pleasing to the eye. I went with the white washer with chrome knobs. With our previous washing machine, I had to pour the detergent into the actual machine itself making such a mess, but this washing machine comes with a compartment for detergent, fabric softener, and bleach! Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the capacity of the washing machine. It was well worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love my new Samsung 7.2-cu ft Electric Dryer. It has a great control panel with lots of drying options. It offers 8 preset drying cycles and 4 temperature levels to suit your laundry needs. The control panel is easy to read and has LED indicator lights. My favorite is the Sensor Dry! This is helps me not over dry my delicate work clothes. It has a huge drying tub (7,2 cu) so my sheets and blankets and loads of jeans and towels fit and dry very well. I do not have to run the dry cycle more than once. Another feature I like is the lint filter indicator light letting me know when it is full and reminding me to empty. It plays a wonderful tune medley when the dryer is finished which is so much better than an annoying buzzer.

I believe my daughter thinks she is a fashion model because I have never seen someone change outfits as many times a day as she does. We usually end up doing at least 2 loads of laundry a day, sometimes more on the weekend, so when it came time to replacing our very old washer and dryer we knew we needed one that was up to the task. The first thing I will mention that I love, is the size. Samsung has done a great job in offering a lot of space in a more compact design. My biggest complaint about whoever designs standard laundry rooms in houses is that they are not big enough, and the appliances usually stick out to the door and make it hard to maneuver around. This washing machine is slightly taller and skinnier than our old one so it fits our laundry room much better while providing more cubic space for clothes. The next thing that I truly appreciate is the noise level. It is basically non-existent. Our old washing machine sounded like a hurricane was fast approaching, the Samsung Washer is virtually silent. It also offers several great washing settings and an easy to use control system that makes getting our clothes cleaned properly every time simple and easy. I also appreciate the ability to be able to see into the washing machine which is something with a top loader that you don't think about until you have experienced it. My only semi-complaint would be that I was under the impression that the washer and dryer could be set up with the Samsung Smartthings App, but instead you have to download the Samsung Washer App and even there it is limited functionality. After spending a while on the phone with Samsung, so far we have not been able to actually connect the washing machine, but can use the diagnostic tool. At this point, we don't have any problems for me to verify that that service is working, but it appears to be. It would have been nice to control the washer via my phone & voice, but I guess that could be more of a novelty anyway and it doesn't take away from how much more convenient this washing machine makes my family's life.
