Working out for the better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Six months In with my washer and I’m well satisfied thus far. Plenty of load room, energy efficient and quiet. I’ve been using it a lot, just load, press and sit back until it notifies me that the wash is done. I’m looking for longevity out of this washer and will update review in another six months.
My first samsung washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after going through a headache with whirlpool and their extended warranty mess. I have to say I'm impressed with the options and features this washer has. It receives alot of use and is more than capable of handling any load of clothes I put in. I highly recommend this washer for the price.
Loud Grinding Noise
I have this washer 5 days and when it starts to wash it just continues to make a grinding noise. Such loud grinding noise. And it continues. I asked home depot where i bought it. And two of the ladies that work there said this was so for them to. They had this washer. Loud noise and they just said they close the door so they do not hear the noise. I feel it should not make this sound at all. So far keeping an eye on this washer. Please let me know if it is suppose to make the awful noise. Of my past 2 washer I own, Never made a sound.

Beautiful and Quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Samsung washing machine works beautifully! And it's so quiet, we don't even know it's running. This machine has a lot of helpful settings but its not over-done or complicated. We are very happy we decided to try Samsung this time-------it's our first Samsung appliance and we love it!
Do Not Buy
Less than 4 years of owning, we've had issues of dirty residue accumulating inside having to perform self clean sometimes 1 or 2 times a month and a constant issue of unbalancing. The machine slams itself over and over signaling an unbalanced load, pauses then has to repeat itself making loads take hours upon hours if it actually completes a load. We're currently looking into servicing the unit but I am suspecting after doing much research on the unit that it will be all for naught since reports I have read is that repairs do not last and are highly expensive. We're looking into replacement washers as well that are NOT Samsung.

The worst
this by far is not a energy efficient washer. the time it takes to complete a load is ridiculous if the load becomes un balanced. i've spent several weekends wasting time washing clothes due to that. that's not the main kicker, it'll actually start itself over to go back thru the whole cycle again. i didn't buy a washer to end up taking my clothes to the laundromat i brought it to wash my clothes in the convince of my home. i also didn't buy to see an increase i my utility bill. it's a piece of garbage. not worth the price they're asking.

STAY AWAY
longtime samsung customer with phones, tv's etc. i decided to try their washer/dryer. stay away from this washer! the washer is under repaired for the second time. brand new, came defective no hot water coming out of the washer. the technician replaced the computer board and the control console. how is that possible? 2 repairs in a few weeks. we had a kenmore washer/dryer for over 30years no issues until it finally gave out. samsung customer service was no help, all they did was read from the script. bought a brand new defective washer in repair twice already. stay away. samsung - stick with phones and tv's , washers are not your thing.

Do Not Buy! Constantly unbalanced!!! Junk!!!
Do Not Buy! Save your Sanity!! I have currently been trying to wash 3 pairs of pajamas pants for the past 2 hours. It keeps going unbalanced and sounds like it is going to blow through the flow. This has been an ongoing nightmare. I will never buy a washer again with no agitator and I will never buy another samsung appliance.

Doesn't spin dry enough
i like that this is so much quieter than my last washer, but it just doesn't spin the clothes dry enough. there is no way to add an extra spin cycle either. now i have to dry my clothes twice as long in the dryer. i'm seriously considering returning it if it's possible. the soap dispenser is in an inconvenient spot too. not a big deal really, but when using a heavy jug to pour it in, it's a bit difficult. i, personally, don't like using the little cups that the detergent comes with, it's so messy.

Buying another one
Great Performance, VRT Plus is a Great Feature, had other brands and they shook all over the floor. Put this one in a ‘washing machine pan’ , and really no problems. I’m ready to purchase a new Samsung, will be my third. They last 5-7 Years that’s it. This one heavy rust around the soap tray. Hope Samsung remedy this issue, maybe with Polymers or SS above the Tray. Getting a new Samsung Dryer too. There the same Good performance, (Very Dusty), but does the job. Changed a pump on the washer, easy fix, part was available. If it wasn’t for the rust I would keep it.
