We bought this as a replacement, by far the worst appliance decision we have ever made. I would give it less than 1 star if I could. Often gets out of balance despite checking to ensure level and everything else imaginable (full load, half load). The default feature when it is out of balance is to throw a code then restart the cycle to dump an additional amount of water. Always occurs when it enters the spin cycle, hence it is starting over. This continues over and over wasting a lot of water. I would never recommend buying this washer, you cannot set it and forget it, might as well wash clothes by hand with the amount of attention we have to give this was washing machine. Avoid at all costs.

So far, I am impressed by not just how efficiently it cleans, but how quietly it performs. I can make a phone call without being interrupted by the sound of it washing. Truly a dream come true.

I’ve had this washer for less than 4 years and the suspension rods are completely shot — I have to redistribute the load several times, restart the spin cycle several times, and practically offer a sacrifice to the gods to get the load to finish. I would love to repair with new suspension rods, but genuine manufacturer’s rods would cost MORE THAN THE WHOLE MACHINE. I’m so tired of planned obsolescence. Don’t buy this machine. I’m off to search for a washer that will last more than 5 years….replacement parts should make $$ sense to get!

Just received my washer & just to try I washed 2 medium sized towels on Quick wash which turned out to be an hour. Did full loads in my old washer in about the same time. Also there is no option to do a warm wash & cold rinse. I'll revisit this after I do a full load but I'm hoping it isn't a 3 hour event. Also hoping the spin cycle does a better job.

My mom, cousin, and I all bought this same washer over a year ago and we've all had the same problems 1st it stop spinning and we all replace the same part. The springs. 2nd the hot water inlet valve doesn't shut of on mines and my mom so now we has to replace that part to keep water from running the whole cycle. We are very disappointed in this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a difference. The old washer would try to take off. The new Samsung with the Vibration Reduction Technology is very quiet. My wife does not like all the different choices to wash with. She thinks we got a computer instead of a washing machine. The washer has a good capacity for larger loads. Self cleaning has kept the moldy smell away. Everything is working well after 3 weeks of use.

it was very difficult to find a washer that allowed water level selection. this one does. however, it is not at all good at handling blankets or towels, even when settings are adjusted as recommended in the manual. the machine gets unbalanced easily and uses extra water plus extends the cycle. sort of defeats the purpose of having such great capacity! i also didnt think that any machine would come without a way to turn off the end of wash chime but this one does not allow you to turn it off...and it is a full song, not just a brief chime. makes running the washer at night almost impossible since thr likelihood that it will wake someone up is high. there is also no volume control. but for the price and the ability to choose water level, i will keep it as 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Samsung washing machine. It is pretty quiet and seems to clean my clothes well. I like the see through door. I like being able to see what's going on during cycles. I like the easy push buttons and the very simple operation of the washer. The pull out detergent drawer is super simple to remove and clean to help reduce build up. I like the location of the drawer as well. It is easy to fill. I love that the drum doesn't have a center agitator. It frees up so much space for more clothes or bigger, bulkier items. I think the child safety lock on the door is a great feature. Kids get curious and I like that the door locks preventing any unwanted accidents. I also like the cycle options. I hate the end of cycle tune. To my knowledge, there isn't a way to shut off the end of cycle tune. I don't need 25 seconds of a tune to alert me that my laundry is finished washing. I wish there was an option to turn it to a basic tone. I reached out to Samsung and they weren't able to provide any help. Because of this, I'm giving a four star review. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this Samsung washing machine. My clothes come out nice and clean and in good condition.

Worst machine I have ever owned. It does not get the clothes clean, doesnt cover the clothes with water during the wash cycle and they clothes never move! It agitates but nothing moves! my clothes continually come out smelling like dirty wash water, even after doing them a second time on rinse and spin only, and when I do this after it fills up you can see the suds, dirt, cloudy water! There are other issues I dont even want to mention it just keeps getting worse. It was the worst decision I ever made to purchase this washer. I am stuck with it because I cannot afford to buy another machine

They have been phenomenal for us and have also withstood a flooded basement. They clean our stuff great and have a bunch of different settings for whatever you throw at it.
