Just received my washer & just to try I washed 2 medium sized towels on Quick wash which turned out to be an hour. Did full loads in my old washer in about the same time. Also there is no option to do a warm wash & cold rinse. I'll revisit this after I do a full load but I'm hoping it isn't a 3 hour event. Also hoping the spin cycle does a better job.

I probably should’ve written this a lot sooner, but have been happy with having a new washer in general. However, after some months it’s been challenging to use so here’s my review: this washer is not made for shorter people. For reference, I am 5’1” and have a really hard time reaching the bottom of the washing machine to take out our clothes. I have been washing clothes my whole life and never have had this issue with a top load washer before. This is also one of the smallest size washing machines they have. My mother is 5’2” and also has the same issue with her Samsung model (unsure of size). Just because someone is not as tall, we shouldn’t have to be forced to purchase a more expensive front load washer. It really is a shame. I unfortunately need to use a step stool, which is very inconvenient, and forget about when I have a big pregnant belly.

I’ve had this washer for less than 4 years and the suspension rods are completely shot — I have to redistribute the load several times, restart the spin cycle several times, and practically offer a sacrifice to the gods to get the load to finish. I would love to repair with new suspension rods, but genuine manufacturer’s rods would cost MORE THAN THE WHOLE MACHINE. I’m so tired of planned obsolescence. Don’t buy this machine. I’m off to search for a washer that will last more than 5 years….replacement parts should make $$ sense to get!

this machine not only took so much longer than my original machine but when it came time to put the laundry in the dryer, they were not spun as dry as my previous machine used to get them. this will now have my dryer working twice as hard. i tried another load. same thing. the wash machine is also not quiet by any means. i thought a dirt bike was riding by our house during the certain cycles.

Did run into one issue with it making a clicking sound but a Samsung technician came out within a week, ordered the part and fixed it. It was all covered under warranty. Obviously wish we had zero issues but I’m happy with how it was handled by Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace my GE washer. This was my first Samsung appliance purchase. The washer has a lot of great features and the convenient self clean cycle however the wash cycles are long. The shortest cycle is the quick wash which still takes 40 minutes.

I bought this and the matching dryer a couple weeks ago, and I wish I'd gone with Samsung the first time. I've bought major appliances before, and I really needed an at-home setup. The first set I bought was a disaster, and not Samsung BTW, so I had to scrap it. We bought and picked this set up and installed it, and not only do the units get my clothes clean and dry, both the washer and dryer do a little tune to let you know your cycle is complete, not necessary for me but so danged CUTE!!! I am very very pleased with this purchase, even registering the products was a breeze. Have had other Samsung products, so I don't know why I didn't in the first place.
