I got this washer on January 4, 2022 (18 days ago) and from day 1, it has not worked as it should. It does not spin the clothes dry at all and clothes take longer to dry in the dryer. It does not come close to the last washer that I had for 26 years! Then today, it would not spin after washing and I got an 8C error code...... What does 8C code mean on Samsung washer? Sometimes 8C error code occurs in Samsung washer immediately after filling with water, and the drum does not rotate on all programs. This indicates the breaking of the motor winding. It should be completely replaced. If the equipment fails to gain speed at the beginning of spinning, check the motor brushes. This washer is going back and I would NOT recommend this washer. Save your money and keep looking!

Worst machine I have ever owned. It does not get the clothes clean, doesnt cover the clothes with water during the wash cycle and they clothes never move! It agitates but nothing moves! my clothes continually come out smelling like dirty wash water, even after doing them a second time on rinse and spin only, and when I do this after it fills up you can see the suds, dirt, cloudy water! There are other issues I dont even want to mention it just keeps getting worse. It was the worst decision I ever made to purchase this washer. I am stuck with it because I cannot afford to buy another machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the washer a little over a month. So far, no complaints. It’s large enough to wash a king size comforter. It has a waterproof cycle which is nice for mattress pads and raincoats. Easy to use and cleans my clothes.

Purchased in 2021, and for the last 2 and half years it consistently gets an “unbalanced code”. Washing a load of clothes takes FOREVER. I have had it repaired and it worked okay for about a month. I hate I purchased this washer. Now I am in search of a new washer

samsung's smart washer automatic temperature control (atc) doesn't know the definition of hot water. there's no way to override atc, either. "..in those regulation cycles, hot temperature is similar to acceptable adult bath-water temperature." -user manual no adult would take a bath in that water. if i want warm water, i would select warm water. the only way to get enough hot water into the tub is to turn off the cold water supply. if this information was disclosed at the time of purchase, i would not have bought this washer. $600 is down the drain.

Great Performance, VRT Plus is a Great Feature, had other brands and they shook all over the floor. Put this one in a ‘washing machine pan’ , and really no problems. I’m ready to purchase a new Samsung, will be my third. They last 5-7 Years that’s it. This one heavy rust around the soap tray. Hope Samsung remedy this issue, maybe with Polymers or SS above the Tray. Getting a new Samsung Dryer too. There the same Good performance, (Very Dusty), but does the job. Changed a pump on the washer, easy fix, part was available. If it wasn’t for the rust I would keep it.

the machine i have, on the normal setting, does not fill with water on the rinse portion of the cycle. service has been efficient and boards have been changed. but the problem exists rendering the normal setting useless. tech support has not identified any error codes. therefore i believe this machine has a design flaw. i was told "just don't use that setting". however that setting is appropriate for most loads of wash. and i paid for a machine with 6 wash settings not 5. this is an excellent machine i am pleased in every way accept for not being able to use the preferred setting. if i could use normal the rating would be 5 star! at this point i would not recommend a samsung washer to anyone!

wife likes the large capacity, the design to even the load before washing is great, no vibrations, love the glass top and actually get hot water for washing. this machine does not beat up the clothes like the old one and produced a lot of lint. this model is gentle on cloths.

My washer and dryer was installed and what a perfect pair about 2 weeks ago they made sure that everything was hooked up properly down to the plugs and hoses. Fast forward I was finally able to do a few loads. My reaction to the sound of the washer was astounding. it was very quiet and had minimum vibration. When the cycle was complete and I removed the clothes you can see, feel and smell how clean they were,. When I removed them they felt almost dry - that is a great spin cycle.. The options for the washer was easy to use and very self explanatory. A twist of a knob and push of a button got you started right away. Im still getting used to some of the other features. i like the small cup section for bleach. its big enough for small comforters and blankets. I love the almost see through top, very easy to load and unload
