Always unbalanced, poor spin cycle.
It should be illegal for Sam's to sell this washing machine. Will not wash a normal load without setting off being unbalanced. Fails to remove water on spin. A piece of junk.

Had the washer for five months
Started smelling the electric motor on the machine im lucky it didnt catch fire now it will not spin or agitate would recomend you stay away from this product 500$ down the drain.

If it unbalances again, so help me...
Constantly unbalances no matter how evenly clothing is distributed, small or large loads. Then, randomly begins another rinse cycle--my electric and water utilities are off the charts. What should be a normal 40-some minute wash, can turn into a 3 hour nightmare.

Great features; Long wash cycles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace my GE washer. This was my first Samsung appliance purchase. The washer has a lot of great features and the convenient self clean cycle however the wash cycles are long. The shortest cycle is the quick wash which still takes 40 minutes.
Decent Purchase
the washer does a good job however it tends to take a long time in cycles at times. also, the bearings went out after 5 months and had to have it replaced. it became very loud during spins cycles. there also needs to be a stting to allow you to turn off the annoying music it plays at the end of the cycle. this model doesnt seem to have an off switch.

Best Washer for Bleach Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer November of last year. This model is a 4.5 cu. ft. and it’s big enough to fit two loads. I’m 5’3”and I do tippie toe to get to the bottom of the washer. I don’t see use of its agitator to wash clothing but works to detangle clothing when washer has a full load. The best about this washer that I love is the faucet for pre-stained clothing and bleach dispenser. The bleach dispenser really well on white clothing that leaves clothing really white. I gave this washer a 3 Star because I don’t find use of features like the detergent dispenser and softener dispenser as well.

Actually Makes Washing Clothes Enjoyable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a family of four including my 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter. I believe my daughter thinks she is a fashion model because I have never seen someone change outfits as many times a day as she does. We usually end up doing at least 2 loads of laundry a day, sometimes more on the weekend, so when it came time to replacing our very old washer and dryer we knew we needed one that was up to the task. The first thing I will mention that I love, is the size. Samsung has done a great job in offering a lot of space in a more compact design. My biggest complaint about whoever designs standard laundry rooms in houses is that they are not big enough, and the appliances usually stick out to the door and make it hard to maneuver around. This washing machine is slightly taller and skinnier than our old one so it fits our laundry room much better while providing more cubic space for clothes. The next thing that I truly appreciate is the noise level. It is basically non-existent. Our old washing machine sounded like a hurricane was fast approaching, the Samsung Washer is virtually silent. It also offers several great washing settings and an easy to use control system that makes getting our clothes cleaned properly every time simple and easy. I also appreciate the ability to be able to see into the washing machine which is something with a top loader that you don't think about until you have experienced it. My only semi-complaint would be that I was under the impression that the washer and dryer could be set up with the Samsung Smartthings App, but instead you have to download the Samsung Washer App and even there it is limited functionality. After spending a while on the phone with Samsung, so far we have not been able to actually connect the washing machine, but can use the diagnostic tool. At this point, we don't have any problems for me to verify that that service is working, but it appears to be. It would have been nice to control the washer via my phone & voice, but I guess that could be more of a novelty anyway and it doesn't take away from how much more convenient this washing machine makes my family's life.
