[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new Samsung washer, especially playing with the many cycle options it has and using the App. Some highlights of the features of the washer in this set are as follows - 1) Ability to download cycles is unique. the set up was easy to follow 2) The washer is very large capacity. This is helpful for large families or bulky items. 3) There are multiple setting and temperature features. This is very handy if you need to vary cycles to to content of the fabric. You can change the temp, speed of cycle, rinse cycles. 4) I really like the ability to add more rinse cycles - this is helpful if someone has sensitive skin. 5) I like the ability to delay the wash periods as well. Having a smart washer is a handy and unique feature. 6) It is relatively quiet to operate 7) I like that it is energy efficient and seems to use the minimum amount of water required. 8) There is a detailed manual that prints online that gives detailed instructions on how to operate the washer. This is easy to read and handy - it would have been great if this was included so I did not have to print or download and save, but it is helpful and not printing saves trees. Some of the characteristics I think could use improvement - 1) While I like the capacity of the washer - it is very tall and I cannot reach the bottom of it without a stool. This is a significant disadvantage. I am 5'4" or reference, but I don't think a 5'6" person could reach the bottom either. The design needs to be flattened a bit - it is just too tall. 2) The quick cycle only works with small loads. - it references 4lbs in the manual, but what does that mean? it takes a lot of clothes to make 4 lbs - is that wet clothes. I tried to quick wash a down blanket and the top would not get wet so obviously it did not get clean. There needs to be a quick cycle for heavy items. 3) I am still experimenting with super speed, but the cycle times are very long. 4) The soap dispenser stays wet - I have not had a problem with odor yet, but I am concerned about that. Overall, I think this washer has met my expectations so far. There are a few items above that I think can use improvement. However, overall the clothes seem to come out clean. The set looks very nice and modern. The washer is very large capacity which is excellent. I have not had any issues with stains not coming out the first wash. Overall, I think Samsung has made a good washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung washer has some really nice and unigue to me features. The best thing is the push button water tap that adds a faucet to my laundry room. I also really like the see through lid that lets me see whats happening at every washing stage. In addition it has a very high capacity stainless steel drum with an agitator. Its large enough to accomodate any bedding or large bulky items that i need to wash. It also automatically selects the optimum water level necessary for the size of the washload. The controls are easy to use and see. This washer ticks all my boxes and i like it a lot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a smaller Samsung washer with this one, and have been quite impressed! It is much quieter than my old one, and has a huge drum capacity! I find myself looking for more laundry in order to fill up loads. I was able to wash king sized comforter in it, which was a must for me with two king size beds. I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things, but connecting the washer to it was quick and easy. The app has a ton of "laundry recipes" which are helpful if you don't know which of the many washing cycles to use. It's also nice to be able to see where you are at in the washing cycle without going out to the laundry room. The only potential negatives I have found with this washer are: 1. The tub is tall, so you may have trouble reaching clothes at the bottom if you are shorter. I am 5'10" and don't have any issues, but have noticed how far down they are. 2. I was washing 2 towels and a set of king sized sheets - which is a fairly small load for this washer - and it kept throwing the unbalanced code during the spin cycle. I tried to even out the clothes and still got the code. After doing this several times, I was finally able to finish my load of laundry. But...has me worrying that this is going to be an issue with small loads. I have never had the issue with a full load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Single person so do not do a whole lot of laundry.power is intermittently staying on after cycle complete.tried to do warrenty on line yesterday but got an error.was given # to call.first time was 14 minutes before i got cut off.2nd lady could not understand my problem she kept saying washer not spinning and finally said that she would have service call me so i am waiting on service to call me.

has Energy Star rating, most likely because spin is 750 rpm. (front loaders more like 1200 rpm). leaves items like jeans, flannel wet. increased my dry time x2. Energy savings??? Also no separate spin- only cycle ; this would allow one to reorganize the clothes and drain more water. on the plus side: deep fill, deep wash provides water to roughly 3/4 full, so real capacity is less, closer to 4cft, but that is still good. Does not clean as well as I would like, but good enough for today's machines. I would LOVE this machine if the spin was repeatable as a separate cycle OR they brought up the spin to 1000-1100 rpm. Lose the useless Energy Star designation and give us a machine that is AMAZING in flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look so nice in my laundry room. I’m so glad Samsung brought back the agitator in the washers. I can tell difference between my old washer and my new Samsung with the agitator, close lock much cleaner than before . Even the quick wash cycles does great job cleaning the clothing. With built-in Wi-Fi I can control my cycle from anywhere. I will tell my family to place their clothing in the machine and I will take care of turning it on. With the large capacity I can wash the whole family loaded in one cycle makes my job much easier and saves on water and electricity. This is a great washer and dryer set. I totally recommend it.

It's a larger washer therefore it can handle more clothes but after a couple of weeks it now makes a knocking noise like one of the balancing springs is getting worn. This noise occurs only on the wash cycle and when you're taking the clothes out of the washer. The wifi functions are nice also but takes practice to get used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the sleek modern styling and the black stainless steel is terrific. The large capacity means I can wash my comforters & quilts at home now. The performance is terrific, getting my laundry ckean the first time means no rewashing.

DO NOT BUY. Samsung lasts 2 years max. Then breaks, just as the warranty expires. We have to “babysit” our washing machine. It takes up to 2.5 hours for one load because each load goes off balance when spinning. So much water wasted. Went to my mom’s condo to do her laundry in her community laundry room because her Samsung stackable washing machine’s belt shredded (causing major plumbing issues), 2 weeks after 2 week warranty expired. Her community washer was a Samsung (same as mine). It took 2.5 hours to do one load because it kept going off balance on spin cycle. I had to readjust laundry and restart spin cycle 7 times, just like home machine. Do not buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my wssher. It is quieter than my previous washer. I love that I am able to connect through my smartphone, and is able to get notifications when the cycle is complete. As well as having to start or restart a cycle.
